If you do a decent job trimming your stuff, it's not that tough, and requires zero prep time.

Time is not needed. Like I said, I don't re-card anything. Less than a minute at a time to make 2 wonderful grades.

Funny.. I took those pictures just back in Nov. '11.. not that long ago.. and the only other place I posted them was on FMB.. and recently one other site.

And uhh.. of course people who want to consume it.. make it.

How else are you going to get it?

huh, I thought you took the pics the other day?

something smells fishy?? :moon:
mack.

He is talking about the original 3. I took the first on 8/4 '11.

The other 2 are stamped.

The ones I posted the other day from the seeded stuff, I had just made that morning.

Are you trying to get the heads to roll? Are you "pulling the rug out from under them" ala a table cloth being pulled out from under tableware? Table cloth = screen(s), tableware = material?

I could see a rolling motion of the heads being a way to remove stalks and whatnot.

That's not a bad idea.. how would you implement that, though? Like.. in actuality? I'm at a loss..

Is it wind aided? Peace GS

Negative.

Lol, welcome to our world! Haha. Idk how I'd get them to roll, perhaps better thought of as a cleaning method for already sieved material...just a thought.

I know some people try (do) a balloon.. and try to pick up contaminant with the static after they run some.. i've never tried.

Does that actually work? lol.

I have thought about having a friend building a machine that would 'scan' just a few mm over the table top, and use a specific frequency to pick up the stalks.. anything not resin.. it could be done in theory.

I haven't seen anything like that, though..

The balloon thing works well for contaminants like hairs, pet hairs, dust, leaf particles, stalks. You can actually hear it as it sticks to the balloon, i have experimented with it but there is one big downside. It will take also the glandular heads, definitely the smaller ones...

Was it from the Nepal guy? I'm sorry I can't recall his screen name. The other dude sworn to secrecy, lol...

Edit: Esteressence is the dude.

In the 90's I was living in Kathmandu and spending some time in Amsterdam, i met some friends of a friend that had a film can with some nearly white unpressed dry sift. He pulled out his sipsee and gave me a toke. I knew right then I needed to know how to make that. Over the course of a couple years we became friends and then I was sworn to keep the method to myself. He gave me a 43&77 and back to Nepal I went. After trying a couple different types of keif I made my first melt. I became very popular with the local crowd in KTM. Anyway i thought I would share a little history. Oh by the way back then we called it 50%, cause it tested at 47% thc...

could be this post..
