I don't mind at all, thanks for stopping by.

I ordered it straight from China from a company called "Shenzhen JingChuangXin Optical Co.,Ltd.". It was under 200$ shipped, no customs fees either... 100 x 3w LED "GG-ZWD-300w(100*3w)" I opted for a "Full spectrum" that included both IR and UV... don't remember all the 'nm' values for those.

For the price of the unit, my style of growing (small medical grow for personal use, me daily and the wife when she needs it), this LED is great... Lower heat than my old 150w HPS, less light penetration, but has great yield potential. Last grow it used ~165 true watts (~$29.xx in electricity the whole grow) and yielded ~3.2 ounces off of 2 plants that were abused beyond belief  . 4 females this time and NO mistakes thus far... can't wait to see the yield.

I see the price has dropped another 20$ or so for the unit I ordered... Might be about time to get another one

Hope this helps; and  welcome to the site

Thanks for the info and warm welcome!

Hopefully this light can get me from seeding to veg and flower in a 2x2x4 space while keeping the heat under 28 degrees (summer is a killer here).
LED growing is so controversial that I wasn't sure A cheapo light will deliver but your pictures tells a different story...

All the best to you my friend!:tiphat:

Hey perso, good luck with your future grow, I will look for my 'tape measure' and find out about how much light/space I am actually using. And I think the only real "controversial" part of LEDs are (most of) them being "Made In China"... you know... "those damn Chinese, are always out to make a cheap and inferior product to stick it to the 'Round Eyes' ". I have had nothing but great things to say (so far) about my China Light, and the company I purchased from.

It's starting to get frosty :woohoo: , can't wait for the weight to start packing  .

Well here is a few more pics, taken a few days apart.

TG-11.JPG

And this one was snapped this morning :tiphat: , we can now see 'CBx' has joined the party, she is the Front Left plant, a little leggy as she has had 12/12 lighting from day one and the light was always 2+ feet above her (~6-12 inches above the rest of the plants at all times).

Well I measured my space, it is about 2.5+ feet by 2+ feet, and have just over 4.25 feet of headroom. Currently flowering 5 girls but it is about maxed out with the strains I picked; maybe if I had more height to raise the light a little more it would cover them better ? I will modify it one of these days for more space and to hold another light :tiphat: .

Thanks again mate!

I went ahead and ordered this light so i'm glad to know my grow space is more or less similar to yours.
Cant wait to see what will come out of this and can only hope for something as nice as what you have growing in there.

Another week down, another pic up

that damn CBx is outgrowing my room, I think she is finally done with her stretch tho :dance013: , as you can see she is almost taller than my door handle (~4 feet tall  ).

I'm also slowly saving up for a second LED for flowering this many girls  (similar model I think)

Thanks for stopping by King; I too am pleased with this light. I can hardly wait 4 - 7 weeks for the chop date (Sk#1 should be done in ~4 weeks, the rest can be 7 or more :shucks: )

Nice looking buds! Glad more people are loving their LEDs, seems like more and more generic options are becoming viable.

Have you run these strains before? I look forward to your comparison.

*WARNING this post contains a WALL OF TEXT* :tiphat:

First time running everything but the Celtix Berry and Big Bud. I was lucky enough in the past to smoke SD and SK#1 a few times so I will be able to compare my Home Grown meds, to the "commercially grown" product in the past.

My CBx still needs a ton of work to get it where I want it (who'd of thought an F1 crossed to an F5 needs some more work  )... EXTREMELY potent, but too many phenos for my liking. I wasn't planning on doing much re-working of it anytime soon, but this is the 4th time growing my F1s out and have seen 5 distinct phenos show up so far. This is the first time I have seen the leggy Skunk/Berry smelling pheno. It could be the 12/12 lighting from her birth? It might be my favorite pheno from 2 grows ago... same smell and leaf structure, but her node spacing and stretch is 'different'... I will see come harvest time in ~7 or so weeks. She usually needs a 9 - 12 week flowering time.

I want to keep the 12 week Skunk/Berry pheno (best tasting, and really potent... slightly lower yield than the rest) but try and work it down to the 8 - 9 week flowering time the NLx IBL has... doubt I will be able to do that any time soon with the number of plants I can run at one time  ... "In a perfect world" right

Still can't seem to place/name the smell coming off of Skunk #1, just an interesting delicious smell, not skunky... but it definitely smells of 'chronic'. ~4 weeks left for her to flower I'm thinking.

Sour D has changed a little, it dropped the overly Funky Skunk smell about a week ago and has changed to a lemony smell with undertones of funk, they are my favorite smelling this grow. ~7 or so weeks to go on them.

Big Bud has more frost on her than the other girls, but a lot less smell... just a slight sweet and fruity smell. She is nothing like the BB I grew years back, had a stretchy bush monster that smelled like Sugar and Hay? This one didn't want to bush too much and barely stretched in flower. I'm guessing ~5 or so weeks left of this girl, maybe closer to 7 to be safe?

Thanks for stopping in DZ, hope I was able to answer your 'Q'.

Stopped by a BBQ yesterday and ran into a buddy of mine; ended up walking away with a few interesting beans... after I got home, I started looking at my closet and said "I can find a way and make room for one more" .

Soooo, I'm germing 1 Flo Scout Cookies (Flo G x GSC) :woohoo: . I was heavily medicated at the time so I don't remember who or what cut the GSC came from

Next grow will be a "Tester" grow with more Flo Scout and maybe some Cherry Wreck :tiphat: (I know I said some Haze Skunk crosses was going down next round, but that has now changed  )

A little update with a quick pic. The first Flo Scout Cookie has fully popped enough to be planted into my starter 'party cup mix'. I also decided to germ another FSC. Being allowed 6 mature plants according to my docs recommendation I figure 1 will be male, 1 female  .

Next update on my girls in flower comes on Thursday (week 5 of flower), next pic update for the FSC probably not for another week or so when it is above ground :tiphat: .

Another quick pic, I finally found a pink balled male (haven't seen the pink pheno since I started my NLx IBL project... the Pink Balled NL#5 years back!)

So my NLx IBL (F5 generation) finally produced a Pink Balled Male :woohoo: . Lucky for me I still have ~4 - 7 weeks left for flowering, so just enough time for him to pass some pollen on the lower bud sites.

He has definitely seen better days, I was trying out different germination methods to find out what works best on my older seeds. Almost every one that popped was given away, then something told me I need to keep a hold of this one, just one of those gut feelings  . He was placed far away from my LED light and got regular tap water (~7.4 pH and ~180 ppm) for his life, until I noticed the pink on his junk! So last night I gave him a good dose (1 tsp) of Dr Earth Bloom Booster, some Azomite, and 6.5 pH water... He will be ready to donate pollen any day :dance013:

(pics of the girls to come Thursday, week 5 flowering on most of the girls, ~3 on CBx and Big Bud)

Well another week down and a few pics up  .

Had a nice surprise this morning, ~3 days after planting the Flo Scout Cookies it said hello today :woohoo: (1st pic)

2nd pic is my best Close Up shot of the Sour Diesel twins.

3rd pic is the group shot, same lineup as last week: far left Skunk #1, then Big Bud, behind her is CBx, then the two on the right is Sour Diesel.

That's all for now :ying:
