It's not a question of lens angles.

my led tubes are 23w spread over ~ 4ft- much better even coverage

Hi pet flora I use one light to cover about 3 1/2 suare feet. I use T5's for veg. Are you suggedting my plants would look better with 23w above them?

Petflora been reading through your thread big respect i appreciate what your doing using lights you have if your short of money plus your getting nice results. But When you can I suggest using at least 600W you will get a lot better yield. But interesting thread. I did a good grow using envirolights but did have four 200W ones inside a big reflector.

Thanks! I agree a lot more light will produce bigger fatter buds. Just not going back down the hps path.

LED advancements are happening weekly. 3 weeks ago I bought the tubes (46 @ 0.5w Samsung 5050 diodes) but already COB versions are hitting the market, though without increased wattage, but soon.

Comparing to my 432w HOT5, I expect ~ 300 led watts to compare- ~ 25% elec savings

Buff you Said to me Recently a Line of LEDs has Failed on One of your older LED Lights !
How Will you go about Correcting this? :smoke:

Was it a Older 3w Version?

5w LEDs are Driven Less So should Last Longer !?
