Question about Rock Resinator and other things...

Up until now I have been using Rock resinator along with liquid kool bloom at the start of the 2nd week of flower and finished off with kool bloom and rock resinator the last 3 weeks. I told someone else this and they basically said its the same thing, I've had good results with the bud hardening and finishing fat but do notice a lot of fox tailing. Is rock and kool bloom the same thing?

I want to switch over to the hammerhead/moab combo and try that out but I was wondering if I could also throw some rock in there just to add density or would that just be way too much K? I plan on halving my base, lowering hammerhead and doing 50% of the recommended moab dosage because I cant afford to lose my ladies at this point.

I was just curious as to what roll Rock actually plays in the scheme of things. Is it just an additive that hardens the flower? Is it like liquid kool bloom or hammerhead in which you just use at week 2 of flower and stop 5 weeks later? Or is it like kool bloom or MOAB and supposed to just be used as a finisher?

I tried researching before asking but I just found a lot of inconclusive jumbo about how it just works with no explanations as to why or what...

I appreciate any information anyone can provide, thank you.. Couldnt really get much help on other sites i normally frequent...

Have you tried rock by itself? I got my boy using it for the first time and so far it's head to head against bloombastic three weeks in. I actually just got some hammerhead and Moab to give it a try this run for the first time so I can't give any input just yet. Hopefully you get answers bro!

I have not tried using rock by itself but I am currently doing a side by side of rock resinator/kool bloom wet/dry vs hammerhead/moab but its going to take a few months to see the results. I was just hoping someone with more knowledge and experience would be able to chime in and save me some time.

If you're already doing side by sides maybe use rock by itself on one of them plants. You might not need that koolbloom, just saying. A couple dudes on the Mass/RI/Con thread use rock by itself and they love it. Ottoman says that rock by itself gave his buds better taste and smell than the hammerhead/Moab comb. I don't think he mentioned a difference in yield. Maybe PM some guys over there. I'd be interested to hear your results if you were willing to do a rock/Moab side by side as well. Keep us posted!

Honestly bro. I would do all the side by sides cause you'll be able to see which additives work for your strains and environment. Somebody with more knowledge can only give you input with their strains and environment. Just me two cents

I had success with Resinator. I used it in combination with: AN Con a&b, AN B-52, AN Nirvana, Hydrozyme, Botanicare Sweet Raw, Botanicare Silica Blast, Great White Shark, Super Bat Guano. This combination gave me average sized, rock hard nugs that were completely covered in tric's with Girl Scout Cookie. The smell was potent with true bag appeal. I am always looking to improve my formula. I'm getting average size but I feel I need something else for that to improve. Any suggestions?

Rock rep told us that it was a bloom booster much like Bloombastic. He said use one or the other. Not both. It might be why you're experiencing foxtailing.

Liquid Kool Bloom is meant to be used early in flower. It's a bulking formula. Powdered Kool Bloom is to be used once at the end. It's a ripening formula. This info came from the GH rep.. You can look on the packaging for both and see they're different P-K numbers.
