Speaking of Love to Live

Check out my 2 Satechism IX1 sisters...on day 21

^ Casey Jones X BS 2.2 (in the 2nd generation) is what makes Satechism tick. Very fast off the line...extremely vigorous...but not real stretchy...more like...they want to bush out. They are both putting out fat flowers...on the fly...with gusto

Started to remove some of these "light blockers" but haven't yet...started to get into serious defoliation. I do that...in the next week...after I'm sure they are done stretching.

^ Many of these fat ass leaves...goddamned rocket ships...these Satechism plants are. No bullshit plants...get in there...and fucking get it on...full throttle...pedal to the floor board. Born to Run

* Plants are already tied into place...rafter tied and kept pulled back out of the bulbs...within 1.5' of the bulbs

Dirt Worshipping Heathen

Dirt Worshipping Heathen

do you remember the ongoing story about a volunteer plant?...the "scrub" plant?....the one that surfaced in the cold of the spring...endured no less than...10 frosts...the one I roughly transplanted..but kept in...more or less...stock medium...ripping branches away roughly..shredding leaves away...supercropping so far as...to cause breaks in the branches??????

^ Scrub turned into a scrubette. She's only 1/2 of what she was...as literally...1/2 of her...turned yellow...showed all kinds of problems.

Prompted me to....completely remove that ill 1/2. The amputation taking mere seconds...was performed just over a week ago..and since....she has finally started being fed (Pure Blend nutes that I have laying around)....and is in her flower stretch..

No idea what she is....I throw lots of seeds...as a general practice. She could be made up of anything....but probably something pretty good.

Brand new Merrell Ascend Gloves

Took them right out...ran a maximum effort for 1:36 (keeping track of hrs on the trail...rather than miles. time is more accurate for what I'm doing)......hitting the hard packed DG and many boulder fields...up and down..propelling as fast as I could...and not lose form. Shoes felt great

Tread on these shoes (vibram) works well on dry hard pack...the rubber making up the tread is harder...gives a stiffer flex and feel. The Ascends are 2 oz lighter (per shoe) than the Lone Peak 1.5 (last shoe I trained in)...and are also zero drop (from heal to toe...no difference in foot height)....

the current trend of taking minimalist shoes and padding them up a bit...but keeping the low profiles and zero drop...I'm all for. It's a great transition for those of us...running in unforgiving terrain...and putting in lots of hrs on the trails. The feel is still there...yet my feet don't get drilled near as often. Don't have to sacrifice my feet...to go full out

dude,i got so schooled yesterday...i finished the climb and ride i was doing, but i was fully mountaineering it for the last stretch...ride for 5 minutes, stop and hyperventilate, ride some more...it was ugly, there were salt stains on the bike frame...full on turned myself inside out blowing spit snot running dont you give up you frickin pussy riding....but i finished,if i only suck a tiny bit less next time then i will keep at it until i dont suck....

the ride home was hella fun of course,it was an 11.6% grade hill i climbed...

There is no other way to train. I'm of the old skool mentality..which means one must be broken down...and then built back up. Staying on the edge of exhaustion...where the mind wants to panic...is essential to the progressions. Training is work...nothing but work. Either you can find joy in the work...or you can find misery in the work...overcoming the mind is where I find freedom.

* I've been doing drills (not today) where I run uphill with my hands locked on my skull. To run like this...forces me to lean back over my ass..keep my form...and focus on lifting my knees. It wears me down...not having the upper body to pull myself up the hill. Shoulders ache....

...then hit the top of the hill..and down for pushups...20-40...back up and keep running...no rest. The entire body...gets creamed...after just a few good climbs. It's a great way to learn methods to quick recovery...

I'm feeling beat up at the moment. Finished up some indoor gardening...little chores...but yeah...I'm wasted. Whenever I do max effort runs...I get my ass kicked.

actually i feel great today, and once i was fed and re-hydrated i theoretically could have ridden again yesterday....only thing thats sore are my triceps from pushing against the bars for hours and horsing the bike around on the dirt parts of the road...plus that part of the decent has brutal, fuckin washboard rocky half sand/mud rain rutted ow fest...but that 29'er rocked it,im sure i would have wrecked a 26 inch wheel bike but those big wheels just keep rollin...

i mapped the ride on google earth, the profile said 1667 feet elevation gain, average grade 3.5%,max uphill grade 16.7%...good ride,i enjoyed it in that suffer fest way, going to climb a different hill tomorrow with a shorter approach,a nice little 20 mile out and back...

Hell Hound IX1S1 Sisters visited on day 52

Hell Hound IX1S1 Sisters visited on day 52

Day 52...therefore...flushing for a week. One of the sisters...is more a vine than the other...she is starting to really begin fade out. The less-of-a-vine sister...she is still power green

* The Odessa (Casey Jones X Cindy Jones) influence is nothing but...obvious..in as far as..the fat fluffy/beady flowers. The aromas are all of their own however. Foul/putrid yet desirable.

** I'm drenching them in 30 ml per gal Clearex this session..as they head into week 2 of flush...I'm going keep the sugar going in...break them down.

*** I haven't had me any Hell Hound flowers in months. A running man's weed....right along with Mox Mox as the best I've found for hitting the trails in vapor clouds of mindless contentment. Creative in the sense....that one sees the lines different...the feel for the terrain easy to come upon...finding pockets of energies hidden in depressions...walls...jutting roots...rock alignments...and wherever else..one can unleash their feet on..in order to ricochet forth. creative running...aided by herbs

I design entire training regiments on the fly...under the influence...out there. Years of messing around with genetics..and here I be...repping Mox Mox and Hell Hound...for my garden...for my discipline

Touching on the Hell Mox build

Touching on the Hell Mox build

This blending of Mox Mox IX1 into Hell Hound IX1 waves I'm taking...are starting to form up fast now. Set after set..I can see their bumps on the horizon...the direction set to jack the onslaught of plants through my breeding system

^ the 1st of the Mox Mox IX1 to show sex...female. Immediately transplanted (as shown)...top pinched

I'm watchful now. Everywhere I look in the veg studio...I see...Mox(s) and Hell(s)....fucking way cool bowl of subjects.

* Really sore today...hips are burning and sending down needles of sharp pain..all down the legs. Been doing a lot of heavy lifting again...work/project related boulders needing to be moved..stuff where machines can't help

yesterday kicked off a run binge...I'll be pushing through the aches, pulls, and stiffnesses...focusing on the runs themselves..the quality of the work...and the terrain...overlapping the quality of my form's endurance

Spending nights on a yoga mat...socks and tennis balls..foam roll...sipping tea and vape...in between...causing myself more pain..in attempts at purging physical restriction

i was trying to explain to someone why i gave up my car...and i really couldnt when it came right down to it,aside from "because i can"....i guess theres lots of reasons,at least a tiny attempt to mitigate some of the harm i have caused the planet,at the same time realizing what a crock of shit that notion is for an indoor pot grower...i certainly havent freed myself from petroleum in any sense, and a modern well tuned motor is more efficient at turning caloric energy into mechanical energy anyway....its far less stressful for me than driving is which is strange since i have to share the road with the same idiots i was yelling at in a car....and i do actually enjoy riding a bike which i suppose is a big plus all things considered....
but really i think its about those moments when like the other day i was working so hard and was so focused on climbing that damn hill that there i was blowing snot and sweating so hard every breath was salt tinged, every time i thought there was nothing left i dug that little bit deeper and found that tiny little spark to keep going....thats why the bike...

Perhaps...it's guilty of being a feature of escapism. today's 2:03 hrs was about running in stiffness and soreness. Around 90 degrees...ran hard...but not well. Wasn't so enjoyable...so if this is escapism...come and get the hurt.

I realize differences in people. Many don't see the freedoms of blowing themselves out. There are prices to be payed...for sure...you have to deal with pain on a constant bases...and sometimes you'll understand..that there may be no rewards for you...in the future.

I have a collection of different hurts...I'm working through right now. Some have been bothering me for over a yr....some are newer..all add up...all must be mitigated. Some days feel good...some days not so good.

This discipline teaches one to accept that tendons...joints...cartilage..are harder to train than muscle. You must build from the inside out...or chances at injury rocket ship up. All those things take much more time to train. Never lose sight of that fact.

It was decided sometime ago...that if I want to keep advancing..it's necessary to learn the body. It's necessary to continually push the boundaries...to settle the mind away from its limitations. I focus on the body...the only one...I'll ever have here. Never understood the religions of denying the body for the mind/soul...as i find...the mind is is lies...on top of...lies....the soul inconclusive. The body is more honest.

Concealed in Sunflowers and Squash

Concealed in Sunflowers and Squash

Amuses me...to play this little game of: Hide the Scrub

^ As the picture indicates...I've hidden the Scrub plant within upstarting squash...and thoughtfully...behind a wall of sunflowers. Of course...a nice frost...will waste the squash and sunflowers...but I'm not overly concerned. She's not a large plant..furthermore she is hidden behind a deck and behind a earth wall....should have no issues or complaints.

Starting to build flowers now

Tied down with strips of bed sheet...and as I said previously...she's been heavily pruned and heavily supercropped.

* I'm feeding her the Pure Blend liquids...in large doses of both Grow and Bloom...by pouring the mix...straight into the water coming out of a hose (with a fat plastic soaker nozzle)...been hitting her everyday with 12 oz per feeding...and plenty of water...I'd say around 10-15 gal per day

** Outdoor temps are highs in the lower 90's and lower 50's at night. RH is under 20. Full southern california sun at 4000' elevation...mostly SW winds at 5-15 mph...cloudless sky

Day 56 Early Samples

Day 56 Early Samples

The two Hell Hound IX1S1 sisters have been flushing for over 10 days now. I took a lower branch from each sister...for samples...and to ease the Hell Hound jones I have going..as growing Hell Hound in veg or flower..engages me in mindless wander...knowing how well the cross works for me.

^ the flowers are some of the lightest (if there is larf...these are it) on the plants...the kind that will hide any self beans...and that are good to remove for early window samples. I'll be vaping the samples within...a few days

* If you've grown Casey Jones...you will see the influences. The Casey has been washed over a few times by now..with the C99 and the OG Jam...but it will still show up in "Vine" expressions like these. That's not a bad thing imo

Wish I could...

Wish I could...

...give you dudes better pix of these things

^ Now on day 46...the wall of OG X BS 2.2 IX1

These things are taking up that entire wall...tied to the trellis...they have expanded far and beyond. A literal wall of flowers. Flowers that reek of grapefruit, funk, and other citruses....and that are...still plowing ahead...feeding heavy off everything....I give them...draining their trays faster than...anything else in there

The pix suck (I know) but man...these are ripping expressions. No joke

* My only beef with them: I wish they were faster flowers...as I'd like to be going into flush about now...but they are not looking like they want to go into that phase yet. My Hell Hounds are faster....and it looks like my Satechisms are faster as well.

Probably looking at 70 days...unless they turn over quick in flush. I'm guessing that flush will not commence for another 7-10 days??...so I'm kind of...getting jammed up with my rotation. It's a crowded mess all way around...in both the veg and flower studios. I have shit everywhere...shit tied up everywhere...shit in trays everywhere...shit progressing everywhere...

It's like having a yoga session....every time I enter the studios. Seriously having to crawl around...edging my way through canopies..avoiding kicking over plants/trays...or spilling/splashing feed into bare bulbs. I have to be on my game every session

Don't think I could manage bigger plants...well I mean..I could...but then I couldn't run as many different expressions.

I think if I was running a single clone...I'd go bigger. Maybe a 20 gal on each of the 2 walls.....train them into a full circle around the bulbs. That would be bitchen'....maybe my Queen Mox clone

Growing them big with vert bulbs...yup...that's the way to go. Agreed

Satechism IX1 day 31

Satechism IX1 day 31

Another shitty picture...but I want to show..just how fast...these 2 plants are pumping flowers (the bud on the far left is not a Satechism..it's a flushing Hell Hound IX1S1)

Satechism= Casey Jones X BS 2.2

Yeah...you see?....these are going to probably be dominated by the 2.2.....and again....no bullshit plant expressions. They go into the flower studio...and start blasting. Quick and to the point.

Why get into a long drawn out flower session?

There is absolutely no call for it. If I'm able to get sativa effects from hybrids...I see no reason to fuck around with "root landraces"......no need to fuck around with light cycle hrs...no need to wait 90+ days for harvest...no need beat myself up or be unhappy with a grow. When I work with my own stuff...I'm at my best. I know what I like in expressions...I know my environment...and I know how to cultivate with good success. I'm never happier in my studios...then when...I'm working my own creations. There are no little voices of discontentment...it's the exact opposite: the voices are chanting yes yes yes...go go go...run run run...hit it son

The more I work my own lines....the better it gets. No cockiness intended at all...it's about honesty

* I've found the same sort of thing in trail running. That is....with trail running: I'm alone with myself...and not influenced by anything...other than...what I experience myself. I can't copy style...can't be drawn in by other entities...it's all me and the environment. It's my world.

In my world...I am free of judgement...free of laws...free of rules...free of influence..as long as...I'm able to maintain and advance my position...advance my conditioning. It's all on me...and that's the best feeling. Bar none.
