What annoys me is fighters like GSP and Jon Jones talking about 'their legacy'

Who do they think they are, talking about their Legacies, as if they are some Mother Teresa or Nelson Mandela?

I can understand that they want to win, and they do so any way they can, within the rules.
So I think it is the rules that should change, so they can't 'elude' their way to a victory.

But thinking about legacies is a bit precious for me.

someone who "just" wins is building no legacy

someone who goes out there and proves they are on a whole other level, they will never be forgotten

sometimes it just seems like a man is fighting a boy, and that is no knock against the opponent, they just are light years away from a star

GSP IS A LEGEND IN THE SPORT ALREADY SO IDK WHAT YOUR GETTING AT. AND IF JON JONES CONTINUES HIS CAREER WITH THIS LEVEL OF SUCCESS HE ALSO WILL BE CONSIDERED A LEGEND OF THE SPORT

GSP and JJ are both great fighters, obviously.... but GSP especially seems to take himself too seriously.
Which makes him boring to watch.

I used to be a fan, but not so much anymore.

I do like to watch Jones though, despite his ego. :)
