My biggest fear about having a" backyard of death" would be a lawsuit over a dumbfukt cop hurting them self trying to cut it down or something. I haven't seen one bad plant in this thread this year! Anyone hear if Tom or filthepotmore? The information that's been shared in this thread has been unsurpassable. It's opened my eyes on how to really grow the healthiest plants possible. Thank you to all who have posted up the information, and an even bigger thanks to Tom for starting it and giving a forum for it to reside in!

Man...I haven't seen fill this year, have I? His girls last year were magnificent. That guy has set the bar. Even his plot is aesthetically pleasing.

Thoughts on lack of stretch for some folks
I personally think 6 ft plants are dandy.
My hypothesis is a real "stretch".
We are at the solar minimum in the sun's 11 year cycle so we are getting less energy.
August has been cooler than normal since the last heat wave so less heat.
We have had some cool nights and mornings adding color but slowing growth.
We always warm up in September and get a little rain to wash dust off.
Hopefully everyone will be happy. At least we aren't in the middle of a mold epidemic.

Real beauty's everyone! Zdub your GH is excellent...I'm thinking the same next year...already have a timber frame structure to start 
Just out of curiosity...have you measured the ergs of the soils at low and high elevations? Basically just the EC of the soil...a measure of how much energy it contains. I would be curious to see if there were a difference.
Gotta have insect control.

Cant forget Oregon, maybe the lesser known producer but rest assured they do their part... Better to say the flood of the West Coast. Maybe more like a series of Ganja tidal waves come harvest time, that surge east to inundate all those desert dry, pricey and starving markets. No place like the West Coast thats for sure.

Yea I have to say the leaves are dropping and changing color fast on the oaks and the other native foilage.
imo it never hurts to pick a bud/plant/garden a week early if theres a storm coming. Id rather have a tiny bit early over taking ANY risk of mold...that seems like simple logic. Besides, most folks pick their stuff late anyway..they like to wait for weight lol but shit stuff thats a bit early doesnt degrade as fast imo and has a nicer shade of bright lime green, not brown turds which is what i see a lot of when it comes to mersh outdoor
