Classic X, HydroGrow 600w LED in the middle, 4x1000w HPS in the corners

Hi.

This room is 8x8
4x1000w HPS in the corners (currently tuned down to 600w)
1 HydroGrow LED in the center

4 Big Buddah Cheese from clone, veg'd 29 days under T-5 and topped once

Currently at day 7 of flower

Nutes: Ionic
Water: Tap for initial fill, res is topped off automatically with RO water

Temps: High 70's, low 80's
Rh: lower than I'd like at 44-50 daytime
C02; Yes, 1350-1500 Nat Gas

what kind of leds do you use? I've heard from phytoled's producer that it's unrecommended to mix hps and led lights together. thanks for your reply in advance. cheers.

MY LEDs come from HydroGrow LED, I wonder why they would recommend against a hybrid application, it seems that each type of artificial light has it's drawbacks and that by combining types you could optimize. That's what I'm trying anyway.

I also have a room with 5 of these lamps in in and no HID lights, that thread is around here somewhere.....

These were taken at day 14, after a defoliation.

Things are looking pretty good, the top of the supports is 5 feet so they're filling in nicely.

Switched 2 of the 4 HID lights to 1000w, will up the other 2 shortly.

Not having the bare bulb in the middle is making keeping thr RH levels up, currently 49%, I have a solution to get it higher but the execution requires cash, so it'll have wait a bit.

So maybe couple more weeks of stretch , and then yas can drop the big lights on down in the canopy........and yeah....

RH could be higher till end of stretch , but 50%`s cool till end of cycle so all should be good.......

Foggers can be put to work for 70% in the future as budget permits Bro.....Plants look good.....

with an HPS in the center, I average a touch over a hun....high of 145, low of 82, have never grown this particular BBC nor with the LED in the middle, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens too.

DHF, how far do you drop those HPS's down? I have been lining the top of the bulb with the highest part of the plant after stretch is done....would you drop it lower?

If you mean "top" as in where it screws into the mogul socket being at top of plants then yes Bro.....that`s dead on.......bottoms /tips of bulbs dropped down for the sideways penetration.......

Day 21 of flower, filling in nicely, they need a full defoliation which I will do this week now that stretch is about over.
