One of the bigger problems with society is people's inability to take responsibility for it's failures. We're quick to boast about our successes and take maximum credit but when we fail we tend to think things like "God is punishing me" or "fate dealt me a bad hand" we rarely see the bad things in our lives as a result of the choices we make. Perhaps if we could learn to take more responsibility we might begin to figure out better choices?

LOL!! I live owl hours, so I end up at people house late or they end up at mine late so its the Mrs being sleep is always relevant... especially when the homies get clumsy or inattentive on a space walk... too funny or im too high... I just woke the wife up!! LMBO stomach crampin... lol

i saw a picture or a meme, i don't know what to call it really, but it said 'I don't need a reason to be a good person.' had a convo with my brother whose going through theology (preacher school)... left him and on the way home had a thought i had to text him...

your not that good of a person if accolades, getting to heaven, or in gods grace is the only reason you're a good person...

We are in the middle of moving. From a house to an apartment.

We're 90% moved in, but only about 40% moved out.

I have no need to watch "hoarders"... first, no TV here. Second, I was raised by one, and my hubby's ex was one. We are less "hoardy" than most, really.

The measure of success of a person is not how much wealth they amass while alive but rather how long they'll be remember after they are gone and for what. How differently might we live our life now if we were certain our happiness in the afterlife was directly connected to our actions in our present life?
