Will seeds form regardless of cold weather?

Hello all,

Does anyone know if pollenating plants in cold weather still works?

I don't mean snow or below freezing temperatures, just cold with possible frost.

Would frost kill the baby seeds, or are they fairly unfazed by the weather?

Thanks for any help. :thank you: :ying:

(disclaimer) as far as i know:
colder temps = lower germination rate.
frost will very probably kill seedlings.
more established plants will tolerate cold better than newer ones.
generally speaking, ruderalis is heartier than indica. indica is heartier than sativa.
not sure about pollination during a cold streak, but common sense dictates that it would be better to bring them inside or wait for the cold to pass.

Thanks Sunset,

I am not sure exactly how cold it has gotten, possibly below zero for a very short time.

If there was any frost it would be minimal and wouldn't last long.

I can't go to that much trouble....

If they survive, they survive. :)
