thanks jumanji2,
and yes the pipes go clear to the bottom of the tubs, that helps provide stability ;)

FYI,
earlier in the first post you can see ozone generator i used sitting on top of my friends cabinet with a couple of fans.

here's another picture of it. safe for using in a living area. ;)

Awesome cabinet. I imagine the fishtank pumps and bubbling helped mask any of the noise from the fans or hum from the ballasts.

Was the ozone generator your only odor control? What manufacturer/make/model?

I've constructed a stealth cabinet disguised as a TV stand/entertainment center (solid oak no less, inspired by Anti's cool micro-cab).

What I've learned is that:

1) I'm no carpenter. It's beautiful, but obvious that it was built by an amateur. Carpentry, like any other skill, takes lots and lots of time to master.

2) Odor control is hard. My plants easily defeated the meager carbon filter I had inside the cab, so I'm now exhausting to an external can-style filter.

i used a combination of the ozone genny and carbon scrubber.

for the ozone genny go to 'amazing1 . com / ozone . htm' <-- remove spaces and quotes...

it's the ozone30...

thanks ninja, and you bet the slide out trays made the job 1000x easier. i cannot imagine raising my lights every other night so i could scrog. not to mention leaning into the cabinet, back killer...

instead pull up a chair and roll out your plant for ease of care :good:

cool GrowBox... :good:

water is 8 lbs a gallon and the gravel in the tank is heavy as fuck too... make sure you build in enough support for all that...

can't wait to see what you come up with :tiphat:

I'm gonna bump this thread, because, man, you gotta see this guy's stealthy set-up. Check out the pics on page 1, if this is your first visit to this thread.
:bump::groupwave::groupwave:

Nice job! Stealthy, efficient, improved yet totally K.I.S.S ! Thinking of going the same way, maybe only on a smaller scale..

exactly and it was true the fishtank with 2 water filtering pumps most definitely over powered anything coming from the cabinet.

I love this about aquariums , they make their little bubble and churning sounds, the other sounds just get lumped in with the real ones :woohoo:
