That space behind my bed.

Hey everybody! Hope this qualifies as micro, it would look micro to all the people over in the grow diaries section and i really don't wanna leave this part of ICMAG.:biggrin:

This time round i am using the space behind my bed. Measures aprox 3 meters wide, 1 and half meters tall and a meter deep. I have current got my Black Widow and Power Kush reveging in there, and also have a clone of P.E vegging. I am going to just grow 3 big bushy plants behind here, i was at first thinking of going SOG with the 3 litre bottles i used last time round for the B.W and P.K but it just seems like such a pain in the ass to water that many pots every day. I need to get this run done as fast as possible as i have some different strains on the way and need to make room fast. I will veg them for roughly 3-4 weeks, depending on how fast the revegging girls start to reveg. I've seen some strains take 3-4 weeks just to put out new growth from revegging but some put new growth out a week after...Lets hope my girls put out some growth by next week.

Currently got the 400MH in there, will switch to the 400watt HPS after vegging the girls.

Oh cool! I am going to follow this one, too! One quick question... I am really tired, and I am confused about the orientation of these photos. Are they taken looking down at the floor? Or sideways somehow?

Down at the floor, that black thing that the bulb is screwed on to is the head of my bed. Lets hope this thing doesn't catch on fire hah! The risks i take just to grow some herb....

You are one crazy mother-f^c%er! I guess if you had a water bed, you could have a heated one now free of charge :chin: ... You know I was thinking along the same line's about a month back when I spotted a cheap head-board with DVD cases on the end's and a large hollow portion in the middle about 10" deep probably 36" high. When my money's right I might just follow through. Remember reading an old article a while back bout N.Y.C. grower's with set-up's like that. :lurk:

There is a lid i put on it. I nailed a block of wood to the wall level with the top of the bed head, put hindes on a bit of wood and wala. I will show more detailed pics of that tomorrow.

It can be 100% lite tiht when I throw it into flowerin. I am onna aim for 9 ounces this run. I have been thinkin bout usin my 400watt hps vertically and pullin the bed forward more to kive more room to the krow. I will be usin my bulb bare, but have some chicken wire type stuff to keep the buds from ettin too close.

I will post pics once i have setup this whole "vert" thin. Somethin I am totally new to.

Very interesting, man. It actually reminds me of my first hidden grow area!!!! When I was 17 and still living with my parents, I had an old retro bed from the 70s with a corner table, and one side of the corner table was open so that a secondary bed could be pushed underneath it, leaving half of the bed exposed, to act like a loveseat or something. Anyhoo, I just left that bed pulled all the way out, and never pushed it in ever. That left me with a large, hollowed out, hidden space where I could grow out seeds that eventually would be transplanted outside in my guerilla spots.

I'll tag this one! Very unique.

Odor doesn't bother me. Thins have changed a bit. I have modified to vert. Here pics.
I will pull the bed forward half a meter to allow more space to set up my coliseum of clones!:) I want to try squeeze in 30-40 clones of the B.W or P.K and achieve the same sorta plant, both of them harvested me over half and ounce. So if i can pull 15+ oz off this 400 watt hps of mine I will never revert.

I made the switch from 400watt MH to 400watt HPS. The HPS is more elongated and i feel that the light coverage would be better with this bulb vertically than with the 400watt MH as the MH bulb is more rounded. I haven't made the switch to 12/12 yet, still gotta pull my head out my ass and sort out 30-40 clones. Then i will throw them all into 3 litre juice bottles and place them around this hanging 400watt HPS, I built a step for the plants that will be placed behind the ones at the front. It will be this way the whole way around the bulb once I moved the bed forward half a meter and allow more space to do so.

no, if this guy had a water bed he would prob have it connected to a hydro set up

Didn't mean to neg rep the OP, this site is a pain in the ass on a mobile!!

Either way, I'll be pulling up a chair for this one. Looks like there are big things in your future :)

This clone of P.E in the big red pot will be going outside after a month and 2 weeks beside this HPS.:biggrin:



These two are clones i took from the plant above, they'll be getting flowered indoors around this HPS.

Here are the revegging ladies from last round in the cab. And also a clone that is rooted very well just hasn't put out much veg growth yet, I gave a weak dose of nitrogen high ferts hopefully that'll get the ball rollin. She's the one in the middle.
