my idea is to take a bag of good rich soil and cut little wholes in the top the bag and plant seeds in it. so I would growing seeds right out of the bag of soil.

would this work. I was planning on trying this this winter garden.

roots organic bags have a camo pattern on them for this very reason.

I used to do that when I was to lazy to re-amend and till my outdoor garden, would buy bags of "Organic" soil and cut circles out of the bag, then plant... I don't see why it wouldn't work for you, it did just fine for me

I think it's better for you to go with the "Non Organic" soil since it's more forgiving media and I assume you willing not to take care of the grow so much...
Take in mind, if you'll use Organic media, you'll have to feed and care your plants more often.

but... Do U plant w/ the bag laying down on it's side.... thus wider root growth...for a wider not taller plant....as in a indica
or
would U plant w/ the bag standing up... then allowing longer deeper root growth...allowing for a taller sativa....

that what i'm thinking about.....
