Good point OldproLG! This thread is like school for me. The way I feel if you don't have a picture of a monster plant on here or you arent here to learn; you should get the hell out! Too many egos.

To all the teachers on this thread "great job everyone, enjoy your harvest"

All other matters aside, looking like superior health dwelling in that garden. Thats what it should look like, giant robust green globes, not a leaf out of place. Nice shot. People out there throwing neg rep around need to stop and take some notes. Friendly or not, this dude grows some of the best trees in this thread. Hats off, haters step aside.

Respect,

FE

Only 1 person neg reps me; if you look, only 1 person ever marks my posts "Unhelpful". The person doing it is clearly following my posts and marking them, however they do not do it using the Green Bubble system so I can see who they are, not that it is necessary...

The person doing it is a charlatan who I have outed numerous times for lying who can't accept the proof....of Superior health with Organics..indoor & out.

:thank you:

FatherEarth, you should know me enough by now to know I don't want the haters to go anywhere because I will step right on them and mash them under my heel.

Stop and take notes is right... veg you have a beautiful garden bro.. everything looks so uniform, healthy, clean, mean and green.. my next door neighbors are absolutely killing it, and their garden reminds me of yours...

being my first year in "the big leagues" i'm not growing how i want to since I am working for someone.. although I persuaded my boss to use somoe techniques of mine.. that being said i'm pleased how her garden is turning out with my help, but I am way more psyched to potentially have my own spot next season... next year is the year!

I`ve never neg-repped anyone since the helpful/not helpful ratings came online here some yrs back , and I know you push the pics or it didn`t happen button concerning my knowledge and experience , but......

Don`t point fingers for neg rep cuz I SWEAR if I`ve got something to say to you it`ll be done in open forum , so don`t flatter yourself by portraying your only "hater" here is lil `ol me......evidently there`s more than my old ass........

I assure you I receive regular pm`s from MANY members that you`re ego and attitude suck , but you keep helpin big plant folks and I`m cool with it....

Just remember helpin folks instead of talkin down to em builds karma points , and I respect your limited experience , but please stop callin me the culprit of your neg rep cuz I could care less than less.....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:.....

Yes, thats where I was going in post #7368. My first attempt at adjusting according to Albrecht's suggestions put the base cation saturation at 76.9% Ca, 10.4% Mg, 6.5% K and 4.5% H. Some trace mins are low (0.5 ppm B, 0.8 Cu) the others were given a "medium" value on the soil test. I purchased a liquid trace mineral product and foliar fed with it a day before the high N foliar to try and compensate for possible trace deficiencies.

Nitrogen is at 136ppm, listed as "very high", sulphur also "very high" at 844ppm. I used primarily gypsum to supply Ca. This was right before heavy spring rains and I figured since sulphate is highly mobile much of it would wash out. Current test results are coming in 2-3 days to confirm or deny that. This use of gypsum was inspired by Tom's original mix from the beginning of this thread and I based my calculation on that. It supplies adequate Ca and more than adequate S in my opinion based on my test results. This can be risky as FatherEarth reminded me off high S can kill of soil biology, particularly fungi.

In the future I would like to increase the Phosphorus (93ppm) and get it closer to the K value(416). I've got a bunch of high P guano and some rock phosphate left over to get started on that this fall.

Your single biggest problem is that base cation saturation of 4.5% H. Are you experiencing insect pressure yet?

What has happened is that you oversupplied Ca...regardless of what form. Are you in pots or in mounds?

If you are in pots plenty of runoff may help eventually. The SO4 will tie up Ca and you will get gypsum runoff. But your ultimate goal is to get some of the Ca out and some H in there.

Elemental sulfur would be the cure if you weren't so high on S already.

This one is above my pay grade...sorry.

DHF , Why do you feel the need to defend yourself? I never mentioned your name at all. Is it because we both know it is you taking the time to mark my posts Unhelpful? Take a look at my posts, only 1 person out of all who rate them give a Negative...

I highly doubt that people spend the time to write to you about me, seems like some girlish drama to be doing shit like that. Clearly you have shown over and over again you choose to involve yourself in situations and with people like that.

Why do you even post in this thread, you have nothing to add or offer to it, you've never grown a big plant outside or inside for that matter...This thread is for GROWERS..

Any one who back reads your posts would see this..Now that HL45 is doing 4plant/5light set ups you run around talking about 4 plant 5 light set ups like it's the Holy Grail because where you are it kept your plant count low with your Skunk/Mexi Hybrid (Jalisco Kid any one?) but when Bobble was doing racks, it was all about heath Robinson racks that you had multiple rooms of Bubba Kush going with high plant # sogs cause that's where the yields are....

All you are is a Parrot who repeats other peoples information and successes and passes them off as their own. Please quit trolling me because I am half your age and exponentially more successful in all walks of life.

There is never a problem in this thread until you come in it posting talking shit. Why don't you come back when you are growing some marijuana and show us all how it's done OK?

PS>> It's COULDN'T care less...If you could care less means you wish that you had the ability to be emotionally detached from the situation...which your reply clearly shows your inability to do....because no one even brought your name up but you choose to attack me..Again, take your fake ass bull shit to the vert forum where people actually believe your BS...This thread is for people who are Growing big plants, Out doors.

I like it when people put in buckets or other objects of commonly known size so that their plants' scale is easier to grasp.

Dang OB is that your neighbors house in those pics? Wow I couldnt sleep at night with people that close. I bet your yard is straight funk balls come September. You ever get odor complaints? Looking healthy, and I think you are right, these plants look like they are the healthiest plants Ive ever seen you post. Nice Job. Dont forget you had to have the motivation to learn the craft to be able to make it happen.

Insect pressure is pretty low so far. I've picked maybe 5 or 6 tiny caterpillars off in the last 4 weeks and seen about a dozen white flies on one specific plant. No sign of spider mites and I'm very happy about that. Plants are in long raised beds with about a foot of heavily amended native soil.

I'm thinking of using phosphoric acid to adjust my well water. It comes out of the ground at 7.6pH, 0.6EC, and has equal parts Ca and Mg. I'll do a bit more reading about that however and post a pic or two next time. This thread isn't for squabbling.

Everyone else is looking great. Keep it up.

Im finding in life being positive just helps the overall ease of everything in life

just be happy you can grow herbs and enjoy it!

Other than that, take the drama to the pm's, cuz 99.99% of us around here are tired of that shit in this thread..

dang OB that lady just keeps getting fatter and fatter!

veg- interestingly enough everything in earthworm norcal mix is doing fine, lush green growth and zero deficiencies. the plants im having minor issue with is the ones in re-used fox farms from last year, they are showing a few yellow leaves....the soil base of those plants definately isnt as rich as the norcal blend...so i gotta adjust. the EWF worm juice drenches are working good but i have a bunch of PBP grow from other projects that i can divert to this one for a feeding soon....gonna hit them hard this week.

Ive picked 3 dozen catts off so far this year. I had sprayed BT earlier, but now Im using Spinosad and rosemary oil. Real bad catt year here.

Hey OB, I hope your neighbor doesnt go fishing for buds over the fence. Ive seen some guys real good at doing that before.
