Ideas to fix ph problems with new seedlings

I have a few seedlings going at the moment and I am having issues that I am 99% sure are ph related. I have rust spots etc and indications of calcium and mag deficiencies.

They are only about 3 weeks old and in beer cups of promix at the moment. I am planning on repotting them into 2 gal pots today for a couple weeks before going into 5-7 gal.

I have wifi, slh and chocolope as well as a couple cheese. All seem effected to some degree with the wifi being the least and the choco the most.

I have never ph'd in promix and I guess I just got extremely lucky. I am in a different province now and with different tap water. the water comes out of the tap at about 6ph after mild nutes and silica it goes to 6.2ish ph.

I have measured run off and it seems it is dropping to 5.5, way too low and thus the cause of my problems.

Should I just increase the ph of the feed or is there something else I should do?

Thanks for the help.

GH 3 part, only been fed once, just watered twice. Light feeding (1ml/gal of each of the 3 part)

I think temps may be an issue too, its been hot here the past week or so, climbing to 30ish almost every afternoon in the room.

would say it's not temps.

the seedlings are young ... may not take to yr store bought soil for a while until the soil 'settles down' (the manufacturer has probably amended his soil and when it's watered initially the mineral balance may be all over the place).

but you'll do no harm by sprinkling Dolomite on top of yr soil and watering it in. WARNING! sprinkle the Dolomite like sugar on a donut. NO HEAVIER!

cheers!

He's running pro-mix, the medium shouldn't need fucking with, its pretty much ready to go outta the bag.

the runoff pH is probably dropping due to the nutrient salts hanging out in the root mass.
That being said.
A lot of guys get away with never pH'ing their feeds in promix and their local water table just causes them to luck out.

then one day the water changes, and they blame everything else besides the pH.

Flush with RO or distilled water, and post some pix.

I think Rube hit the nail on the head. I think the temps caused them to shut down a bit leaving the nutes building up in the cups. I got the temps down, repotted and kept feeding as normal and they are rebounding nicely. All new growth looks good.
