Favorite strains for creativity, music, and art?

Hey all,

So in preparation for my first upcoming grow, I am trying to choose exactly which plants will be in my garden...

I'm looking for a clearheaded energetic strain with no anxiety. Something that hits that special part of the brain and makes you just want to create. Something that helps you feel the music, and see the colors...

Thanks!

Zambian Copper, from Tropical seeds, clear energy high, no anxiety, but needs to be outdoors/greenhouse to get the most of her.

Super Lemon Haze- ultra stinky lemon camphor pheno. Every time I smoked this I would be compelled to grab a pencil and paper and start writing. Ideas would pour out.

Mandala Satori is my #1 when I'm playing music. (in fact, I just got back from a gig) Here's the description off their website. I completely agree with this description. I love this one.

A clear, cerebral high and strong potency sets in quickly; it supports concentration & creativity; very inspiring and stimulating. Ideal for writers, artists, musicians, or other creative people. Recommended for experienced smokers and if you have a high THC tolerance. Persons not used to highly psychoactive sativas should be cautious with the dosage.

Here's pix of my fully seeded female. Organic growing is just way too easy.

Kandy Kush is amazing for listening to music or playing an instrument! KK is one of those strains that you pick up an instrument then next thing you know 2 or 3 hours flew by. Music sounds great with KK. This is a great thread, I might look into that Mandala #1 now...

Yes Satori from Mandala is a good choice, but you need the right pheno.

Grapefruit from female seeds is just wonderful for playing and listening to music, all pheno's will effect your auditory perception well. Damn easy to grow with amazing yields. I just veg for a week from germination, then put them on 12/12 for about 70-80 days, height is about 2-3 feet at maturity. Nice sweet grapefruit tasting Sativa.

I prefer clear, lucid, euphoric head highs foe these types of things (music, dancing, socializing) . There's lots of strains an hybrids that fit the bill. :)

Agent Orange would be a great strain, I really love the effect, it's good for any time of day or night and I've yet to build a tolerance to her. She's a very stable strain that I can personally recommend by that company along with their Jillybean. Other than those two strains I don't have much experience with their gear and don't want to start a bash the company thread as there are very passionate growers who love them or hate them (just like any other company). They both have the same mother plant, Orange Velvet (an unknown skunk), and both have an intense orange flavor and aroma which varies from sweet to sour and all forms in between and probably has something to do with both strains stability.
The Blues family will give you what you are looking for too with some selection but there's some pretty stoney girls in that line so beware (I've seen some cuts of Bluberry test in the mid 20's for THC), Flo and F13 are a few you may consider.

Peace,
KF

Hi, I agree with Satori (mandala) nice clear high a bit trippy in high dosis, a good blueberry (clear, euphoric and window clear) also makes the things. Kalimist (serius) and Leda 1 (kcbrains) are great mind expansion and makes day brighter. Mextiza (CBG) its also a great sativa.
I have heard also a lot of nice things of F13 (dj...) for what you are looking for but I haven't grow her.
Look ay ACE and CBG real nice and exotic stuff and really nice, serius and profesional work.
...

My hands-down favorite for all of the above would be a cut of DJ Short's blueberry that's been held for 14+ years by some friends. Can't compare anything to it really.

Other than that some great strains for getting the music going are:
Reclining buddha
SFV OG
Super silver haze
Island sweet skunk

Nice! My absolutely favorite strain (yet) is a cut of the Dj's Blues that have been around for about 15. It is the most pungent and recognizable herb I have ever encountered. 1g in a pocket from 15ft away was instantly and undeniably recognizable. I miss it...
