Peyote Purple in a half yard smart pot. Went all Butte topping it (thanks Veg) and it did make some tops and is going to stay under the roof line. This shot is from up a ladder

The plants that i maintained zero apical dominance (globe shape) I found to grow bigger and faster than the plants with a more traditional shape did you noticed a correlation also?

This one goes globe shape on its own given enough root space. It was the highest yielding pheno out of the 10 seeds I popped.

This particular plant however is topped. At least 6 inches were removed from almost all of the branches. That was done because I let it get root bound before putting it out...done for plant health...but I do like the result so far.

Not sure I answered your question or not.

My area has lots of wind in the last couple days. The wind combined with the stretch has really opened up some of my plants, which is a good thing in my area come October.

I've only seen a few shot of outdoor peyote and they looked fantastic. I think you're in for a treat. Were they from newer stock and did you get 10 females in the pack?

Do things seem two weeks early this year to some?

Yes. You're not the only one. Hope the finish is a bit earlier as well.

So I see that others are seeing the transition happening early, I bet the smoke from all these fires isnt helping anything... i do question for all you large plant folks...when do you guys start feeding bloom nutes? And do you cut out your veg regimen completely?

10 females yep. I have had it for at least a couple of yrs. People love it and it is far easier to grow outdoors than in, at least for me. Bag appeal is completely off the charts, taste is good but the high for me is just relaxing, not really the fun sativa high I like. But very popular with everyone else it seems so who am I to judge.

What are all you big plant folk feeding your girls now that they're probably stretching? I'm feeling very indecisive about dropping a big feeding on them right now because I started with Vermifire which is supposedly pretty hot to begin with. I use the General Organics line and I did 3/4 of a "light feeding" with both Biothrive Veg and Biothrive Flower and, Calmag about two days ago...one day before that I did two cups of Jamaican Bat Guano 1-10-0 on each plant as a top dressing. I'm not sure all that was enough.

I do have some Blue Sugar (Blue Dream x Sugar Kush) and they're showing to be N sensitive so I want to be careful with those... but the Chemdawg #4 and Blueberry OG seem to be at least average feeders.

Thinking of doing some Earth Juice powder top dressings.... Any advice? :) Thanks!!

Believe me, I want to!! I've just never used Vermifire soil before and I don't want to burn the crap out of them, that wouldn't help with the final stretch.. Anyone familiar with Vermifire... or General Organics? The veg formula is 4-3-3 and the flower is 2-4-4...?

Furrywall11 - I think you did the right thing. Less strength ferts, and more often if you have to until you get the feel for your soil. What size are your plants? If large then I don't think you should have a problem with feeding them, even with VermiFire. Another top dress I always apply this time of year is EWC. EWC fo sho!

Damn, 1-10-0, maybe I should be looking at guano for an organic P source. I've been using Neptune's Harvest 2-4-1. AgSil16H says not to use with other concentrated fertilizers. Any of you silica guys using it with other ingredients or do you spray alone with a surfactant?
