Very much so, I realize I forgot to tell my buddy to water the little flowering clone in the cup. Ah well, it'll be a dry little nug by the time I get home if he didn't water it. :p

I'm considering picking up some liquid fert...either Plagron Alga Grow / Bloom or BioNova Soil / Coco A/B. I don't really need it--the only thing I am strongly considering is more neem from Plagron, or maybe some more of this concentrated Bayer Garten neem. I am going to be feeding my plants much less in the way of nutes from now on as I realize I've been overdoing it. Fortunately I have gotten warmed up and back into the swing of things without jeopardizing my little Ice Cream!

I doubt he'd think - Gelado (if that is your real name ;) ) didn't tell me to water this one, so I wont.

Im cutting back on nutes this round too, no more than twice a week. I always seem to have a problem with too much N still available late in flower - especially with sat leaners.

Of course Gelado`'s my name (with the ` and all). ;)

I doubt he watered it...I'll know for sure in about a week, or when we speak next...he's out of town for the weekend too!

Since I grow organically, I realize I shouldn't have to feed anything at all...everything should be in the medium when the seedlings are transplanted in so all nutes run out by the time the plants are done.

I am going to use pelletized fish fertilizer with oyster shell meal...just a few tablespoons. I'll throw in a tablespoon or two of high P guano, some azomite and leonardite and some additional lactic acid-based composting powder (basically EMs), a little rice husk charcoal and 5-10% worm castings. I'll give everything a good mix, and I will water with pHed water with enzymes, kelp and neem. I won't feed again unless the plants show they need something, which they probably won't with all that good stuff in the soil! I will also use the BN-Zym to break down roots before I reuse my coco/soil/perlite mix.

I forgot to mention I picked up a 10 pack of Paradise Dutch Dragon (regular) for cheap last week: only 17,50 Euros on clearance. :)

Picked up some Plagron Alga-Bloom (250ml) and 250 ml of Plagron's neem. I have everything I need for quite a while!

So he did water it without me telling him to...you were right WG! I am tempted to buy more grow stuff while I'm here since the variety of what's available is astounding, but I don't want to pay excess baggage. I hear BioCanna's veg formula is really good...

ha, nah, he was totally doing me a favor. He's going to have to water two more times before I get back. Poor guy, he's really busy, and I'm out here eating some of the best meals of my life, drinking great beer and talking to sexy Eastern European women. :p

Went to a store chockful of clones today.

http://www.floweryfield.com/

Thinking about taking an OG Kush cut back. He suggested I take the (old school) Chronic because it had a lot of branches I could take home. I don't know about transporting clones on a flight, but damn, it's tempting for $12 a plant...I told him I'll come back Saturday since they're in rockwool and I'm not set up to care for hydroponics while I'm here!

Won't be picking up any clones, but I did pick up a pack of Nirvana Full Moon and some Plagron Alga Grow. Also having some chicken manure, horticultural grade trace elements and bio organic agricultural fert with bennies sent over. Funny, several pounds of the last three cost me less than one pack of seeds...my guy at the nursery really has great prices!

I'm back and spent six hours on my girls today. My buddy said my Ice Cream looked 'flat' compared to my other females. When I got to my tent, the Ice Cream was badly wilted and looked terrible! I thought it might have been a goner. I was getting ready to try and take clones to save it. I flushed it with about a gallon of water and it perked right up.

My short auto female was ready for harvest and looked to have a good 20g of bud on it. Unfortunately, it also had botrytis. I harvested what I could and flushed the rest. :( Terrible since it is really sticky goodness. The little nug in the cup was ready for harvest too and I cut her down.

The other two large auto females are flowering along. One still has horribly curled leaves, but is doing well otherwise. The other has a lot of yellow leaf.

I repotted the two plants in plastic pots (a flowering auto female and a vegging skunk 1 fem) into Smartpots. Both had old roots near the bottom and the roots in the skunk pot had a bad smell to them. I think both plants will do much better in Smartpots, and hopefully the enzymes help break the old roots down!

After watering all the plants, the vegging plants (skunk 1 and Ice Cream) were hit with BN Zym (enzymes), Bayer Garten Neem, a little epsom salts and some Plagron Alga Grow, and a little pH down to even things out. The females got the same, but Alga Bloom instead. I swear my girls looked happy to see me! Two weeks away is a long time and they definitely suffered without me. The pH down is much more concentrated than I expected, so I'll be using a pipette from now on. Hopefully the pH wasn't too low because of the pH down.

That ph down is really fast acting. 1st time I used it my waters ph was so low it didn't register. Ooops. Pipette? Is that a dropper?

Too bad some of the bud went bad, but hey theres more to come. :)

WG, yes, a pipette is a laboratory dropper with gradations in ml. :)

I ordered some in anticipation of my return, but forgot to take them to my grow. Now I'm thinking I may have given them too much, even though I was careful to use very little--that stuff is no joke!

Terrible about the bud rot after all the time I waited to harvest--it would have been a decent yield and 20g would definitely have lasted me until the other two girls are ready. Ah well, I still managed to harvest what I believe will be 8g or so dry, so it's not all bad and nothing died. I would have been most concerned about my Ice Cream, but she looked great after a good flush/watering. I'll be out of town again next weekend, but only for a short trip so they shouldn't miss me too much (and vice versa)!

About to check on my plants now. When I got home yesterday, I had a bottle of premium Scotch and all the ferts in my checked baggage. The ferts and pH down were wrapped in saran and then bubble wrap. I imagined the phosphoric acid leaking out of the bottle and burning a hole through my suitcase.

When I opened my bag up, I smelled scotch. I lost about 40-50 ml of scotch to my dirty laundry. When I unwrapped the ferts, neem oil and pH down, everything was fine until I got to the pH down. My fingers felt a bit greasy and the label was coming off. I realized I had pH down on my fingers pretty quickly!

I washed the bottle off (and my hands) immediately and poured the pH down into an empty water bottle and looked for leaks in the Advanced Hydroponics bottle. Fortunately there weren't any and I only lost a few ml of the pH down. It definitely could have been a lot worse!

On another note, I've been drinking so much that I can chug a tall boy and feel absolutely nothing. I need to ease my tolerance back down. I took a good pipeful of AK / Widow after a two week break and went home. I ended up sleeping for a solid twelve hours!

I have two LED lamps that put out light in 630nm and 660nm only. I think they are bleaching my plants' leaves. I may replace them with mixed wavelength LED/CFL. I'll try feeding with micros and waiting a week, and then turning off those LEDs. If my plants recover I'll switch out those bulbs since they seem to do funny things to my plants.

Yep, and this is delicious stuff! I have a pretty good collection of liquor from all over the world and it grows faster than I can drink it! I never seem to have enough bud though ;)

Everything is doing better now that daddy's home :) I tried a small popcorn nug and the taste and potency are better than from the previous plant. No sign of botrytis in the drying bud--I was careful to avoid any moldy bits and threw away a little more than I needed to to make sure I wasn't going to have more issues.

When I got to my grow it REEKED down the hallway. That's the first time that's happened. The humidity may have gotten to the carbon filter. I turned it up and sprayed air freshener. The last feed and watering really seems to have done the trick and everything looks better. The plants that were transplanted into Smartpots haven't perked up immediately, but I'm hoping they do better now that the roots can breathe better.

I have an issue that will require me to take down my grow at some point--looks like I can't flower the Ice Cream until this is resolved. I should be able to harvest the three budding plants I have going before then. I'll try and leave my Ice Cream vegging and flower her after the issue resolves itself...there is also the possibility I'll just move my entire grow...
