Been there serverly with a knife. I dont know whats goint to happend, its a trial that might become a error, but then i learned it irl....

he idea of that is...
Got the 30ish cuts ready in a few days to move in. The stress of being cut vastly back i hope will compensate a bit for the differences of flowertime. I will just place the new cuts in some other holes. Gotta get used to the amount of space this 360 degree setup gives me, so instead of taking out, I put more in.
Might not taste as good, might get a bit mature, and bla bla bla.
The more the marrier and i wont have the felling of wastet energy, its expensive around here to get power out the walls..

Hey ICs

The Black Domina is starting to flower, aint gonna be good, but it gonna be a tasty harvest.
My AC broke down, plants suffer on the top floor, but the major bottom fan manage to keep the second highest floor to be 3 degress C to high from optimum indoor conditons..
But a new AC is on the wishlist.. Got through first half and the hottest part of our summer this year, now the rains come so its more important with a dehumidifier..

I have put in 22 more Sensi Star x skunk 1 - Best seen on this picture..

And this below is a Sensi Star s Skunk 1.
From the side it is seen that plant fits my setup nearly 100%, the cut was a bit to small to get in, seen by its not going higher than the tube above. When i cut down the lower branches to avoid them grow into one another, it is leaving a area suitable for the very top from the tube below. If the cuts are very uniform and the right size, they will create bud to buds from all 4 sides, 360 around the bulb.

Clones have been taken to make cuts to fill it with only Sensi Star x Skunk 1
Need it to root ad make close to 250 cuts so i can take rough the best of 2 for uniformity.
I would like to get higher cutnumbers and this is what im working on atm..

I like the shiny look of your room with everything covered in reflective material.. so clean.. the reflective material behind the plants that bounces the light back in will really help a lot with the yields.. !!

once you start monocropping with high numbers I am sure you should do very well come harvest time

EC 0.87 GHE Flora soft serie incl. GHE bioroots.. (tapwater EC 0.55* at PH 5.8 )
* got nearly zero calcium in the tapwater, but lots of mg and other good minerals - pretty healthy tapwater.

Mumarea - 1x250W chinaMH on a rail, NFT tubes holds 15 and 6 more mums in a raised Eb/Flood with a bellsiphon. Them 6 are keepers of various genetics suitable for my colisetup, they grow in the low light area when i raise mums for the flowerroom, this was my 1. tryout on this setup and it worked okay for my satifaction/need.
Could be better so i think i will add a 18W T8 tube (what i have atm) next round when growing mums.
Im thinking completly rebuilding the mothersetup. I have a idea for a setup that might could give me 10% more cuttings, in a faster time.
-Also the skillfull eye will see this setup aint complete - yet...

Crossing my fingers for a great strike rate there! I really want to see this happen because I've seen so many people (including myself) talking about starting Heath style verts and even seen some people get started but in reality I've only seen very few actual grows. Did you rape those clone mothers so much that you only had 3 whole plants left or what happened there?

Hope you enjoy the actual grow But yeah, I think I belong to a endangered species...

Them 3 mums are whats left after filling the 105 site cloner. I called it a day and went to bed..
Next day I cloned out the 3 last plants, no pics but they will come..
Then I shut off the tubepump to save energy and cleaned out the tubes..

Plan is to make a new batch of mums for each batch to flower.
It makes me able to clean the tubes for roots and it prevent overflow but keeps a good flow in the root system, and a top of that, small plants use small amounts of water and nutes..

Purple T: Well, here is the update
The cloner anit as good as it looks, a 2 cm flamingoboard should do the trick next time, the spray is awesome, but the distance from bottom pots down to the droplets are minus 1.5 cm. By lifting every pot up with the board the sprayers will hit eachother and make tiny drops. A good aeroponic enviroment for the roots to form quickly.
You see it in the next round of cuts... promise...


The update for this time.. Day 10-11 of 80ish.

I ended at 119 cuts in total. 105 in the big cloner and 14 more in a seperate small improvised flaoting flamingoboard/raft in a bowl of water..
DWC (10 days, still no roots) with no airstone is boringly slow to make roots compared to aero (first roottap at day 7)..

I had a drop in numbers in the aeroponic cloner though, I think to much roothormone was added, i count drops but totaly lost it when the radio played 99 red ballons..
80 flat to go, Ill take 15 for mum and cloneproduction, it leaves 65 for the octagon. ½ full..

But the rest is making nice roots...

Time for update..

49 cuts placed into the octagon 3 days ahead of plan. Good felling for the future..
A lot died cause the litte holder was made both to avoid water get to other parts than just around the cutzone, but not to block it form the others. I use a large piece of flamingo as a big washer to get the pots higher up and above the sprayers the next run

And here is some rarely seen.
10 Liter bucket, 8 Liter water - 49 plants/rootet cuts.
But only a few days, then i add a 70L reservoir to it and mount on the topop and PHadjudster.
The interval is on. 1 min ON - 4 min OFF. Flowrate at 1,2 L/h
Got a cheap luxmeter, it says 550-600 lux from the 3½ years old Sylvania grolux..

I´ll mount a 400W MH within the next couple of days, then up it to 600W MH until day 24 - then 600HPS.

Hey, time for another one
Been running a 400W MH for a small week by now = 30w/sq2. - Human eye lux is ~10.000 at the plants.

A few cuts dried out cause of the massive heatradiation from the bigger bulb, but most of the cuts welcomes it..
On day 15 flower, thats about 7 days from now, I´ll put in a 600W.


As said I got a bigger reservoir on, still small.. 50ish L water.
DIY 12V homemade flamingo floatvalve hooked to the circuitboard to control the 2 containers of makeup water, one small with PH 2 water, and one 90L barrel with plain tapwater.
Adjusting the EC manually - 1.5 (tapwater 0.5 at ph 5.8)
Need 2 small circulation pumps to stirr up the water in the makeup containers before its used..

Pics of the plants comes in a few days..
Also working on a video of the autosystem in function...

Im curious why you left all the leafs intact on your clones?
Maybe Im on deep water now, but as I understood it... err.. If you damage the leaf (cutting parts of it..) and leave eg. 2/3 of if, will the plant not focus to keep them leafs alive, but instead focus on roots and new growth. = higher rate of surviving clones.
And on top of this the plant will consume the leaf as energy, instead of directing energy to it to keep it alive..

Please correct me if im misstaken, and that would preferably include a link to WHY you should/should not cut them leafs a bit..
