Damn good find on the Nova L.E.D. Oregonism! Probably jump by tommorow, but there are always some random deals online man! I wan't a little oomf already in my set-up, and the 4-pot arrays look just perfect for a 16"x16"...
Include lighting !
Please and thank you !
Run a 55w PL-l fixture on each of the 3 walls that isn't a door. Vent thru the roof, intake thru the floor. You will pull well.
I have a veg cab with similar dimensions, just a little deeper, and I had 12 or so plants doing fine under, 40 to 110 watt's of 4000/6400k light, no problems.
I have some cfl's and socket splitters(turns one light bulb fixture into two)
Question , what is the best way to get more plug in light sockets, i know about ravaging lamps but not much else?
It would fill a 16x16 space with love. You would be over 50watts a sq ft if the lamp drew about 75watts.
Beware if you haven't ever browsed thru the LED section, most lights are listed as nominal wattage at maximum voltage and not what they actually draw. So I am always skeptical of wattage, however, even lower wattage LED's seem to incorporate better PAR/per watt, bette than CFL's even, let alone HID.
A UFO clone is another great choice for 16x16.
Yes, I too have done quite a bit of research on L.E.D.'s, just received a 300 diode 175-185W at-the-plug panel for a 2x3 flower room. When I took a break from growin my own, CFL's were just becoming the rage for micro's, growing L.E.D.'s had just emerged (The one's like Tehmaster just picked up...), and they were pretty shameful besides being able to veg under. Check out the thread if you got time Oregonism, I have a 50 diode "100W" U.F.O., and with a little research I found it actually draws 42W. It is the same model MerryGardener pulled a Oz with, and the same as what Teriyakiz 200W P.C. uses too. With my need's though, I will be upgrading as soon as possible to a 4-pot apollo type style panel for my GL40.
Personally, I use plug strips and these bad boys:http://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-White-Outlet-to-Socket-Light-Plug-R52-00061-00W/100170446 and then the splitter's.
There are some other ways:
http://www.amazon.com/Outlet-Adapte...470&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=3+wayoutlet+adaptor Three way plugs and then add splitters as well to each plug in.
