Yes you are right pisspotgrower. I often have the same idea...
A monocrop would be ideal... After this round is done, it really is
time to monocrop. I need to stop messing around and pull down some real weight...

Hey mate, thats looking real cool...just what globe is that again sorry...looks like a normal indicant light globe i got in my kitchen..and reckon ya could just drop her down a tad, as nbow ya growing vert ya want the light down in the middle not above.....but i reckon ya lifted her for the pics n know that already

And off we go ay.....took abit but ya got there mate well done

Yeah bro, it is much brighter than my old 150w, or it seems... and is no doubt brighter than the 110w of PL-L's I was using as a replacement. The plants seem like they are enjoying it.

Here is the bulb... It is a 150w Ultra Sun, I was kinda thrown off because my old 150w and in the pic, it is the long style bulb not the globe kind but it doesn't seem to matter too much...

As far as light placement, I mostly listening to this advice...

The rule of thumb for vertical bare bulbs has ALWAYS been tip of bulbs at tops of plants till end of stretch , and then dropped down where the tip of the mogul socket is even with tops of plants till end of cycle........

thanks a lot! they are pretty nice but I am sure I can find better! this is my problem, I just can't stop searching for better!

Although I think it might get a bit more organized next round...

Maybe 1 strain on each wall... 4 walls... 4 strains.

Deff BKGK Bx1 in there, Chemy Jones most likely, after that idk... maybe my OGxCD bagseed, or these ECSDxSSSDH testers...

I want another shot at this KROM pheno from House of Love tho! Smells of pure lemons in my jar and I did a horrible job growing her.

nice looking cab buddy, glad its working out for ya! scrog that thing and youll pull alot more... modular scrog it, so you can still move them out.. i know u run multiple strains. and i bet if you threw a full spectrum LED in there they'd love the added light, minimal heat, and correct wave lengths

oh word, just noticed you flipped that light vertically! you'll love it man, promise. you could still vertically modular scrog it, and in a space of your size i cant see that doing anything but helping yield. a couple LED blue and red booster panels on the walls and horizontal will kill it, get all your angles covered.

thanks for stopping by ChemDgMillionre! yeah I am stoked about the Vertical bulb.. i can see the plants responding nicely already... most plants were already a few weeks into flower when it was switched to vert so they could not benefit fully from it.. but when the new ones go in, they should yield much better... I have threw in a few to see how they take off in the first weeks and it is pretty impressive! I still have room... 1 clone of each pheno of ECSDxSSSDH testers will be thrown in and a few others as well... Surprised at how many plants I can fit in around the bulb... I also don't run the largest pots... Might have to change that soon though.. I have 5 and 7 gal smart pots but I have fear they might be too large for my cab... I could always transplant the clones more onto one side of the smart pot...

As far as scrogging... i was planning on lining up some trellis netting on the walls and pulling the plant's back from the light... kind of like Marlo did...

I like the sound of modular scrog tho so I can still remove them... idk I have to think about that..

I just spent a lot of money on a 400w light/ballast, 6" fan/scrubber/muffler combo, and some other BS that I can't even use right now.. I don't have any to spare on LED's. them mofo's are EXPENSIVE! if you wanna shoot me some links though i'll check em out for the future... one day I wanna go full LED grow... maybe a few CMH's vertically... hmm that sounds crazy...

also if you have any links to good tutorials for Modular scrogs feel free to link them too!
