I'm still amazed how poorly some folks I happen to know treat perfectly well grown flowers.A friend wanted to trade me some Chem D for some of the Lucifer stuff I run, an oz for an oz.I saw the bag and had to decline on the grounds that the flowers were still wet and soft and an oz had about 1-2 grams of sticks.Why go to the trouble of growing a great plant only to ruin it with a 4 day dry with 4" sticks? That's what separates the men from the boys for me, how you take care of what you grew.No wonder he was crying about the low price of buds, nobody will tell him he's failing except me.You guys know what happens at this time of year, leave the bag open for 5 min and it's goop, let alone if it was wet to start.I know this is all old news but if you want to compete at all now a days, that bud should be dried right! I come right from that area Gemini. Born & raised there, believe me when I tell u me and some buddies were bringing the weight thru. Back in HS, sure I could get 500/o for some absolute fire, but those days are long gone.

I was probably one of the knuckleheads buying 6g+ elbows from Otto! ;-) juuust kidding, but probably.

Back in early 2000's before the Cali herb was everywhere we'd pay anywhere from 5-6g, all comin down from Maine. Around 2004-2005 when the fucking brokers showed up the super dank 5-6g Maine buds became alot harder to get ahold of, I guess gettin snatched up quicker.

I remember back in the 2005 timeframe I would pay around 3g per #, sometimes got it for 2800, sometimes it was closer to 3500. The stuff was nothing like what you fellas are have now.

They always called the stuff 'beasters'. Dense little nugets that were vac sealed while still kinda wet. Didn't matter tho, i was smoking for free at the end of the day and it moved like it was a slice of warm apple pie.

Blame Canada, great name!! I love to blame Canada for everything, esp when I found out they grew tons more buds in Nova Scotia than they did here in NE.I sure felt like an idiot when I realized it was warmer and better farming up there than here.My buddy had a house in Truro NS on a river and they grew pumpkins too big to fit in a Toyota truck! More people on that coast grew weed and they traded buds like money.What appeared to be some serious backwoods hicks had some game.Average Joes up there would plant a 1/4 acre of bagseeds.Some guys had all Seedbank stock too.What a trip.We drove down into this cove type town and people threw rocks at our van until we drove away.We used to drive up there when a hurricaine was moving north.They have giant waves up there when that happens...That MOB bud has me rambling badly...

LBs for 2800 max.. for singles.. and 2400 up to 5. any more then 5 u get for 2even.. this was back in 2000. ish. lol my buddys were getting it from a dude bringin it down from Canada.. wasn't horrible buds but it was deff not dried and cured properly.. even had a few times were by the time we got the bud and got back to town.. the entire load was straight WHITE with powdery Mildew. a lot of dudes went out of business because of that.. strain name M39 was the beasters Im talking bout.. extremely dense buds with a shity smel and smoked like crap.

BasementGrower, I personally know people that have been busted in the area for growing and already had a record. They weren't even close to sniffing any jail time and put on probation 3 years with 5-7 executed suspend sentence. That didn't stop either person from growing in their homes in the same exact towns they were busted in weeks after. Guess what both of them were off probation within 2 years and each of them were put on administrative probation within 3 months of their initial proby, which means you don't even have to report to a probation officer, just be subject to random call and drug test which never even happened. These people also smoked the whole time by simply using the whizzinator and never failed a drug test in the first 3 months. The cops didn't harass or knock on the peoples doors not even 1 time after their arrest or still to this day. Plain and simple you have not a clue of what your talking about. But I guess its hard to make friends when you still live in your moms basement....

Otto's buds when locked in are straight up the best out of the entire local crew, I've tried buds from everyone. He literally pulled over 14 zips of the most fire batch of chemd I've seen with my own eyes from a 2gal of coco but is too humble to tell you fuckers about it. Beasters are still coming into the states from Canada on the regular by the ton. $2000 an elbow. If you know somebody in the big game you can get it for $1800. $1500 if you get more than 10 elbows. The cops regularly bust 100 pound shipments and it doesn't even put a dent in their business. Shit is garbage, doesn't even come close to what I grow, even my outdoor!!!

Turns out the Blue Hashplant is the MOB. I had suspected as much but the source of it was far away from my circle but they call it MOD, apparently the initials of the guy who found the Blue HP.So I have a very nice, well grown jar of MOB from Maine and the two are exactly the same.I don't have the most discerning palate but I can tell if 2 oz are the same.I'll try and take a pic of the Mainer buds....Of course I certainly could be wrong, it would n't be the first time but the buds, the buzz, the smell are all the same.I thought it was suspicious the Blue HP being called MOD. I've seen perfectly grown plants of both and it's the same to me.It's a great smoke and makes me run off at the mouth a bit.Zens' had it for yrs and yrs.

I met an older dread who claimed to be the breeder of MOB at a show. Older deadhead type. Wooks are a strange breed, you take a look at them and would never take em serious... then they bust out the dankest shit you've ever seen! I'd be much less inclined to believe him if he was clean cut, that's for damn sure.
