Aren't most ants pretty much wingless wasps? Ugh... they creep me out. Only in large quantities though. Just a few don't bug me, but when they swarm, and make like a moving puddle? EWWW.

This one is cool, though. Did you snap this photo somewhere here in CO?

Yep, out east of Greeley. It's a solitary critter, nicknamed the cow killer because of its painfull sting.

Really caught me off guard to see a half inch long bright red fuzzy ant scurring along :look at this:

It was actually my kid that knew what it was, guess they had them at the butterfly pavilion last time he went there.

3 cookie wreck pheno just popped in the over. Found these in just 5 beans. Trainwreck leaner, i think the second is a cookie leaner, and the third i think is the keeper/ "CV" cut. Short stocky, lots of trich. production only about 2 weeks in.

I didn't even know hibiscus grew here. I am originally from hell... er, I mean south FL, and we had them there, but in the almost 20 years I have lived in CO, I hadn't seen any except at the local garden center. Are yours in-ground, or container?

I'm not sure how common they are here, I picked them up at Home Depot years ago. They are in ground, they definitely look dead in the winter, but have been coming back for the last 3 years!

Some hibiscus are pretty hardy. A different cultivar, Hibiscus syriacus is quite common in old Denver neighborhoods.

They're slow to establish themselves, but are very hardy & long lived once they do.

Theres a couple dispensaries in Denver and I think Boulder that claim to have it. I tried from one in Denver and not too sure how legit it was. They said it was cherry pie x og. Good smoke but probably not the real deal, as in Forum cut.

Who's got some legit GSC pics? Haven't gotten to try any yet..

lookup adrift's thread, he killed the GSC out here,
as for where to get some cookies flowers.... sorry i dunno.

imvho it was mostly hype, i tried several cookie's batches round cup time... not bad, but not game-changing either.

Finally, after 10 months of me complaining, the building owner has installed a CO2 system

:yay: :dance013: :whee: :wahey:

Prepare to stop snickering and start sucking.

To clarify for those who know me, images marked "@ The Studio" were of plants that did not have any form of CO2 supplementation at any point during the last year, images marked "@ The Summer Home" were of plants that had standard (900ppm) CO2 supplementation.

Wow. That looks great!

To those who have been in CO for a while...Are there ANY dispensaries with actual quality that may have this strain? In the 20 or so dispensaries I've tried, not one made me happy. Figured it was just the season of the cash crop here...

Anyone try Dakini Kush from Centennial Seed Co?
My man Ben Holmes runs it. Wicked nice guy.
Just curios how his strains are appreciated in CO since he is the first legal seed co in the U.S.A.
