10 weeks was my fave for LUI, be it Red's cut, or the keeper I lost to cops some years back. Peace

These are old stock lui as well.

I have 3 pheno types. indy goes 50 days, 50/50 @ 65 and sat @ closer to 10 weeks. all of these lean towards the SWT more than the Ortega. plan on hitting these with a BG A11male next run to see what comes out may hit a few buds with some AK pollen as well just for kicks.

I had an ort pheno that was short and columnar but I did care for it so she was culled. These all leaned in the Swt direction.

I have some ak/double sour diesel and sour jack I will drop later on.
I dropped some of the ak/dsd crosses before but germ rates sucked as in 0 for 10. most of them cracked but none took off.
dropped some TW X Herijuana last night. all of them sank so maybe something will go. germ rates haven't been that great in the past. soaked these in a .50ec bloom solution and a drop of super thrive so maybe that will help. these are F2s of some of Mota's old gear.

Ill be looking for lemon Thai which I think is the secret ingredient in the chem line. some of my all time favorite smoke. never grew out any chemdog. kicked myself 100's of times for loosing the LT.

LUI is definitely worth keeping around. not the most potent but a sweetheart just the same. I made these from my Ortega pheno x a couple SWT leaning males.
these were made about 05 so not as old as yours but still getting on in age. I dropped 10. 6 popped 3 swt heavy females, 2 swt male and 1 big Jurassic looking Ortega.
I have to say I like the Swt side better than the Ortega. Sweet floral smell with a hint of berry. the 50/50 has hint of the Ortega earthy funk in it. My original ort was all earthy dank kinda bland with sleepy couch lock buzz. sampled some of the 50/50 bud decent 3 to 5 hit weed. decent head with a sleepy time come down and nice body high to ease the arthritic pain in my joints.
SOL, DJ and Red did a nice job.

I have 5 seeds of the original.. Pretty sure they'll only be good enough for bird food but might try to pop them sometime soon.

Hey GP I remember that pic from some of reds threads. thanks for posting it. Looks like my old Ortega. Thick cola on that lady. The only plant to ever give me mold issues.
OG brings back a lot of memories. remember being paranoid as hell during the crash. everyone scrambling to clean house not the best situation. That was the begging of the end for me then HG started getting pressure and that was it. Times sure have changed . I'm digging the new vibe with legalization and all the new medi states.
Swt pheno has handled the heat and humidity much better than the Ortega.
Nice tribute to red and legends. I remember when high times was building LUI up to be the next great thing but never really took of like the SD or the kush lines.
I still have a pack of strawberry blonde x blockhead and a few other legends strains to sort.
