Crappy camera, Try this

Picture with camera by itself

Picture with lupe held close to camera

I never use the built in zoom on the camera, it seems to distort the image, however the magnification from the lupe seems to help a great deal.

I use my phone's camera for my photos, and I occasionally put my loupe in front for a magnified photo, like this one:

Not bad for a phone camera :D

The Galaxy S3 don't need no loupe!! 4x zoom ^_^

Awesome tho, will do this for when snapping pics with my shitty ass Camera. Seen this done a couple times, great idea!! =)

My phone has 4x zoom, too, but I think it looks crappy... it gets all grainy even though it's an 8mp camera. I just have an SII. Maybe the SIIIs handle the zoom better. My loupe is 30x :D

I turn off the GPS tagging, and I remove personal info from the photo. I think there's a thread on how to do that stuff on here somewhere...

I am gonna have to try it. I have used the zoom to try to see things far, but not close. Doing it for far looks like crap. Heh... Going to try it tomorrow.

And I just got my 40x loupe in the mail yesterday, the most I've done with it is start a fire outside xD

@ LTTG : In your first post I quote you seem to have said you use the loupe before, yet in your last post mention having to try it, You had me confused, still am. It does work well. Make sure to turn off the flash or hold the loupe away from the flash.

@Soulsurfer : Yea, well some of us are less fortunate and get the cheapest phones out. But one day I would love to get that new everything proof samsung.

@LTTG : My phones zoom is so terrible ive never used it for anything. My lupe is 30x also, I was told that was an overkill and 10x was all you need. But 30x was less than $10.

@GMAX : All I can say is its as safe as registering for an account on a website using an email address and posting images. Id say your fine so long as your not having a serious op. Meth lab etc.

@LTTG : you can right click an image, click view properties and then see if the GPS info is under the details tab in Windows OS. But a test also is to download any images offline, try some on FB, Twitter, where people will upload mobile images, check them for GPS info, And then check some of yours on ICMAG, Usually they process the file from your computer and store it in their db which removes all the details. You can test it by saving an image with false info, upload it, then save it and check, its all blank again.

Lol this is a hand me down phone my brotha, i personally dont purchase any uneccessary technology. My brother has the s4 everything proof. NOW thioose cameras are awesome. I can literally take a clear pic in space with that thing. I purchased my 40x loupe and my 60x loupe on ebay for less than 5 bux for both. Qith the 60 x I can see my baby trichs on my seedlings super clear. But it fux up the cameras focus.

Nah, I use the loupe a lot (in fact, I have a photo I need to upload this morning using it, because I think one of my girls decided to become a she-male :chin:). The one where I mention trying something was trying the built-in zoom on my phone's camera. :)
