Where to find water pump to put outside of aero cloner for cooler temps?

may I suggest you wander down to yr local pump and irrigation store? they will know every fitting ever made ... and won't be the slightest bit interested what yr pump is for. (altho you should have an answer ready in case the salesperson is really friendly.)

You need to find a pump with a threaded inlet. The EcoPlus series of pumps from 185 and up have this feature. Check the pump selection at any hydro supplier.

I need cooler temps in my cloner and I want to put my pump on the outside of it however I cant find one with two male pieces like the one in the thread that will circulate water.

Many of the pumps used for hydro are actually designed for aquariums. Some have threaded inlets & outlets, some come with conversion kits for screened inlet submersible use or external inline use. You can also use an aluminum automotive heater core or transmission cooler as a radiator to bring water temps down to very near ambient. Flush well before using.

Both the Danner/Pondmaster & the little giant are quality pump lines, with some of the less expensive brands being good as well.
