Hey TGH, everything is looking great so far. Sorry i'm late to this but pulling up a seat now. A lot of interesting strains in this grow, even a few I wanted to test but wasn't ready at the time to start (hopefully in the future though). Looking forward to seeing what these strains do. GL with everything and take care 1

What up TGH, had to setup my account over here on IC. I'm excited to see how all these genetics do in your outdoor garden. Exciting times and a killer lineup for sure.

It's been a hot few days out at my spot, been opening up the greenhouse to the fullest and the plants are loving it so far.

The bees also seem to really like the inside of my greenhouse and have been keeping me company.

Male / Female ratios are coming in hot, some are TBA due to the undecided few in each pool

God Rush - 3 seedlings; 2 female; 1 male

It is seeming like the WA apples are going to be over 70% female on my end, something I would expect from the Pez being it is NL #5 bagseed and most likely a self. To those testing the WA apples look out for inter sex issues, there may be a chance they pop up.
So far a lot of the females in my group have a majority of Pez leaning characteristics on first glace, but it is hard to make any calls this early on. Flowering time is coming soon and that is when the fun starts!

RedeyedNReady stopped by my spot yesterday. Turns out he had some space open up and I offered up my sexed females, 26 ortega crosses were sent home with him to be finished under his watch. I kept a majority of the WA Apples and the unsexed few for further examination.

The Wa Apples are responding to LST extremely well, they aren't as fragile as some of my other strains I'm running and are extremely vigorous. Almost all of them have a strong funk in veg and a large majority of them are female. They have also responded the best to drought and high heat conditions out of all of the seeds I ran this run.. I am really stoked to see them go.

Great experience with the gear so far. I got 3 strains, the Abusive OG, Pez, and Purple Elephant.

I popped 5 of each, then 5 of the abusive og, then the Purple Elephant, then the Pez/WA Apples will be last.

6/10 of the Abusives were male. Fuck! Vigorous males tho .

We'll have to see with the other two, but I'm excited. Just reporting that the every lady of each is just thick-stemmed and bushy as shit!

I am loving my WA Apples. I recently LST'd 4 of them and they took it perfectly, all of my females have thick and robust stems that can really take a lot abuse. They seem to love the outdoor environment. I'm about to flip a couple of the WA apples to see what we've got going on here, a little sneak peak.

I have noticed that the Abusive crosses I have show preflowers that can look like a male expression, but given time some end up throwing some pistils. I'll be snapping some pictures today and I'll try to get a show of one of the more pronounced examples of this. I wouldn't be to hasty to cut those males back.

Red mentioned the other day the pistil colors your getting with some of these testers; have any pics you can share with us? I'd love to see what he was talking about :)

I agree! You HAVE to LST the Pez/ WA Apples, otherwise, why the hell waste the nodes!

For 1" high plant, theres a 4 inch stem, 4 branches, and about 4-7 nodes per branch. And hungry as all hell. I grow organically, and adding 1tbsp of compost per week + teas are serving it well. Its a nute hog. Mite resistant also. Battling these fuckers left and right and these ones are like honey badgers, not giving a fuck.

Sorry I haven't thrown up any pictures guys, I've been burning the candle at both ends. I've had a few WA Apples in flower since the 18th of July and they have been stacking fairly well considering.. I am attempting my first blackout this year and ended up having some problems the first few days with humidity and a majority of my plants were droopy for a few days afterwards. The WA Apples were only showing minor signs of the same stress as 5 other strains and bounced out of it twice as fast.

I have one that is throwing violet and pink pistils. Here is the best shot I could get of it I'm sure I'll be taking better shots later on.

I agree with Sensi Rebel they are nute hogs and needing a little more than what I'm giving them so I have been ramping it up.

I am not sure exactly how many plants in my large population are showing this trait yet, because I only have a few into flower. Initially I had planned to flip them all together in about a month, but I got antsy and wanted to see what I was about to dedicate a lot of my space to :)

I took the first four WA Apples that showed and I potted them up, the rest are still in their one gallons.. Getting the business stress testing them trying to get them to show their weaknesses.

Out of the four I potted up I gave one to Red, at the time I believe this one was most leaning towards the Pez out of the four up potted plants and was showing some salmon pink/pastel orange pistils but was still vegging. I remember it had a very nice candy orange smell coming off it that was pretty powerful.

Of the three I have in the blackout area, 1 is showing the pink/violet pistils as of 9 days of flower. They are coming up white and then changing to pink over time. I believe this is due to the outdoor environment and might not be as prominent indoors so hopefully you are testing them outside budelight. The other two are showing fairly typical vibrant orange hairs currently, but you never know that could change for the better.

damn thats awesome!!! I love seeing color in the pistils, not something we see often indoors :) Can't wait till you flip the rest. Keep up the great work TGH!!!

Nice job, now I'm really really excited for your grow. Pez was my favorite from the beginning :)

Spread some reputation around before giving it to TonyGreenHand again.

:thank you: :woohoo: :woohoo:

2/3 of my WA apple phenos were easy to clone with roots shooting out of all sides of the cube at 6 days.. Got that Pink lady backed up she was the most rooted of the group today.

Glad she cloned out well for you, I took some of Afghan Bullrider cuts and I'm still waiting for roots on all of those at 10 days now, hoping for something to pop out of the rapid rooter plugs in the next few days.

Here are the first three girls, they have been pretty stressed out in their night time blackout area, but have been making a noticeable comeback over the last few days

As said previously these guys are heavy feeders. I have them in HP pro mix currently but should NOT have done that, next year I will use my head and go with a heavy water only soil. Live and learn glad I only did three like this : ) Here they are @13 days of 12/12

Washington Apple FF4 - Preflower aromas on this one are very earthy, woody, floral, and bitter early on.

Washington Apple FF2 - Pinklady also has the same earthy, woody, floral, and bitter aromas to the preflowers, but it is less pronounced and paired with a bland sweet aroma.

Washington Apple FF1 - Smell is so far sweet

I am thinking that the Ortega is the source of the woodsy aroma coming from two of these WA Apples.
