Big Bang Micro Box

I agree with NKOTS - keep them closer to the light now to limit the stretching as much as possible.

On the whole this is a really nice clean and simple build and you plants look great - love the look of the BB - damn that thing has short nodes! The patience to wait through 60days of veg was commendable... must have seemed like years (hope u had some good nugs to tide you over) - I for one am very keen to see how they do over the next couple months. Good luck

nice concept, buddy, just be aware that current long distance to light actually promotes more stretching. but then, if you want to keep them close to light, you need to check and adjust distance quite frequently.

in your place i would now definitely consider topping both side plants.
you could then try to clone these young-into-flower cuttings and make nice monster-ladies for the next run :good:

check out kiwi_growa's thread and his Pinaple Express girls to see what pink rabbit means :)

looking very nice, that cab of yours!

Thank you for being always here to cheer me up and helping with suggestions my friend but as you can see I don't have a separate veg box and that is my biggest limitation.. I also don't have accessibility to a clone gel for the moment so the clone idea is almost impossible for me right now..

I agree with both of you guys and I have already shortened the distance between plants and lamp, this is my first grow Twist and I'm not as the usual noob, I take this grow as an experiment and I look at it as a funny hobby, I am not scared of trying new things, in this grow I had topped, cropped, LSTed, defoliated and now I'm lollipopping.. You don't how much I'm looking for the final result.. must have seemed like years? AGES my friend..

Just so you know - you do not need clone gel or powder to root clones... I have never used either, and so far I have only ever lost 1 clone in total (out of about 15 so far). it is just another one of those things that the industry would like you to believe is necessary, when it actually isn't. If you have access to some you can try raw honey/agave, or aloe juice as a rooting aid, but again, it is totally possible to root clones without.

Peace

i am rooting with quite a successfull rate in pure soil and humidity domes!

l

but i understand space constraints (no veg cab).
how about building one? :)

I am thinking on building a new cab that have both veg and flower station so I can also make a bonsai mom and a bunch of clones for a perpetual grow but for the moment I can't afford any new project due to personal problems and maybe a new house.. Thank you both guys for suggestions!

wow, the oldest one is really bushing out!

love to see the power of canna variety: the difference between fat leaves of the big lady vs. delicate posture of the other two :good:

When I upload new posts here I really wait for your answers my friend because you really give me the strength and the pleasure to keep updating and sharing my work, I really appreciate this, I also like to see you interested in the same manner I am interested in it and if you were in italy I would absolutely give the 50% because I feel like you are growing with these babies.. I was also wondering if the 2 little girls (yeah, they are both female and I don't know if I have to be happy or not) are really sour cream (indica) or maybe some sativas there, they smell really skunky, at least 2 times the green apple smell of the big bang!

well, very glad to come here as your cab is a nice clean setup, well documented and one can see you share the love with your plants!

congrats on 3 girls then! :headbange this will call for some training imo and you might experience some difficulties to fit 3 stretching ladies in the box... but at the end of the day it will reward you with more fflowers :)

one thing you could be concerned about though is your reflector. its shape is now suboptimal and you can clearly see that some parts of the box are less illuminated and the plants turn towards the hood.
i know you probably don't want to mess with the setup at this point of grow (i have the same issue) but for future you should consider reshaping your hood. for now i would recommend turning the pots around from time to time and change their position like you do - to ensure best possible light penetration.

and when i come to Italy one day, we'll have a smoke of some own-grown buds together, what do you think?

Thank you man, that's my first intent here..

I was hoping for some seeds but it's ok for the first time, we will see how they will perform..

If you see the differences between day 73 and day 74 you will notice that I have opened the hood to ensure more light penetration, I am now going to buy 2 new little bulbs to add in the 2 corners and add at least 40watt of light because I really think they need it, as I told you in the last post we are on the same wavelength my friend ;)

You will be really welcome my friend, whenever you want!

yeah, i had an impression you did something to the hood, just didn't notice exactly :bashhead:.
anyway your plan to throw more light in is great and the girls will be very happy about it.

but then again comes the temp issue, i will repeat my advice from the 1st or 2nd page - work on your air inlets to make sure enough airflow is provided. is there only 1 fan sucking air in, and 2 of them sucking air out now?

Yes my friend, 1 intake, 2 outake and the holes at the bottom of the box for passive..

Good work Iska. They should love those extra bulbs that you added - especially right at the corners.

That is one hell of an LST job sir:tiphat: Good job, i look forward to watching these girls bush up nicely. Plus i love the layout of the passive intake holes in the bottom.:ying:

yeah, great to see new bulbs in there :good:

so what is the total wattage now and how much did they impact temp increase?

quite a severe defoliation in day 77 - why so hard?
i was always informed to not stress that much in bloom and i stick to this rule (i only LST and perform topping in early flower).

besides, do you plan to train the sativas or let them continue to grow vert?

They are absolutely loving it, and I added the 2 extra bulbs with that intent twist, to lighten the 2 dark corners.. Thank you for the interest anyway!

Hey KG, thank you for the compliment but I was just trying to emulate what I have learned by watching and lurking in this forum, and as this is my first grow I think it's a good result, the layout of the holes was my original idea with those as a passive intake and a 12v fan as outake but in the middle of the grow I have upgraded to 2 12v outake, 1 12v intake+ the passive holes..

Total wattage is 125+(2x20)=165W
I applied this extreme defoliation because of the high temperatures we have here, also for the light penetration and last but not least to concentrate all the nutrients and the feeding stuff to where I need them to go, the top of the plant!
For the 2 little girls I really still don't know what the hell they are, my friend said that ther are sour cream f2 so they should be indica but from the stretch and the leaves they look something ruderalis in the lower leaves and sativa on top.. For me it's enough to know that they will give me weed
For the temperatures I just can say that it's hot over there, no problem, my 3 fans are set at 9v right now so I'm gonna make them run at 12v and report temperatures!
