Yeah hail can be rough around here for sure.

I will give a quick bump (no pics for a few more weeks :biggrin: ).

Good news! I planted plenty, and 6 have survived so far;

1 x NLx 'IBL' is Male, pulled him out of the garden to slowly flower naturally to use his pollen on lower branches (NL#5 looking, aka "common" pheno).

2 x Sour Diesel IBL (Dr. Load re-worked) both female, and both looking slightly different. Similar height, but one has a ton more branches. Both have been topped once, tried cloning for the first time on the less bushy one (think its the "RiRi" cut based on growth pattern). Took 4 bottom branches that were being starved of light, tried my best to not mess everything up, didn't use ANY rooting hormone just Azomite added to the water, put them in jiffy cube things, misted the dome and making sure they get 24 hours of light/fresh air and higher humidity to keep them happy... Today is officially day 2 for them, no signs of drooping or yellowing of any kind (yet). If they make it... 1 is to keep, the other 3 are for a good friend :huggg:

1 x Skunk #1 female (don't know what one for sure... think its the "special" smelling one)
1 x Big Bud female (don't know what one for sure... but 70% sure I have seen similar growth patterns before/smell before)

1 x CeltiX Berry; Unknown still, only popped from the dirt a few days back? Slowly working on roots then on to its next set of leaves, then with a month of stretchy 12/12 growth I will know its sex.

So 4 females (so far) and one LUCKY male to pass his pollen around then get binned. I figure the SD x NLx should be fairly stable and extremely potent, both being "IBL"s and showing little diversity in phenos, and both being good smokes. NLx is 8-10 week strain, most finish around 8.5-9 weeks, Sour D is a 10-12 week strain. Can only hope for Sour D buds that finish and weigh like my NLx (slightly earlier and heavier buds)

The Big Bud and Skunk #1 crosses will be the most interesting (phenos wise, its like a box of chocolates :tiphat:), each one is known for 4 or more phenos but is still labeled as a "stable" strain, we will see how it turns out. Hoping for bigger buds and more vigorous growth in my NLx 'IBL'. All these strains have a 8-10 week flowering time if memory serves.

Stay safe everyone... now its back to the shadows for me :ying:

Anyone with a recollection of what 'skunk' was being cultivated in Colo. Springs, in 1982 and 1983? Or what/where it was/came from?

Have a friend who says it was the bomb for pain, but has since lost track of it and doesn't remember strain. Any help would be appreciated.

To be honest I have not smelled or tried anything from the Springs that was skunky

Hi, all :) (I seem to start all my posts with that. I should be more creative!)

Just wanted to pop in here and say hello since I live in CO. I am a newbie grower, just wanting a little for myself. Currently attempting an indoor grow of two clones I got from a friend of mine (see: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=266721 ), and am pleased with the results so far, even though I am sure my setup is less than optimal. As I said, I just want some for myself, so a huge yield isn't really necessary. If I am able to get all the way to harvest, I may try to re-veg these two, or ask friends for seeds for the future (since I'd like to try from seed someday).

Hope everyone and their girls (and some boys for you breeders) are doing well!

I just have to say I recently had the pleasure of visiting your fine state, and I hope to find myself there again soon. Such nice weather, great bud and friendly people for the most part

Wish I could, but setbacks in the garden prevented me from putting an entry together, so i'll be at the warehouse instead, working towards next time.
