Here's what I don't get: this hybrid is listed on leafly as GDP X OG Kush (yeah, bullshit right?), but elsewhere it is said to be GDP X Durban Poison. Those pictures? I'm not seeing any durban in yours at all. Is it just me? Looks pretty damned indica-dom to me. Sounds just like the description, too.
My PNW club cut of 'Cherry Pie' is waay more sativa than that; big draping fans and durban-looking buds all the way. No purple at all after 40 days. Just curious how long yours went to finish? This version is said to go 9-10 weeks. I'll post pics in a month when they finish.
As for the med club scene, I'm so goddamned sick of the strain re-name game. It makes finding authentic genes almost impossible, with countless assholes representing pathetic seed-hack clones as the real deal. Just got done mulching a so-called Cherry AK-47; zero resin or smell at 8 weeks. Total waste of space and food. Where's the honor, for fuck's sake.
That said, a few PNW clubs are indeed supplying the original clone-only favorites like Blue Dream, Grape Ape, Blue Magoo. I can't honestly complain.

Well if you want to listen to the #CookieFam stories, the supposed creator's of Cherry Pie, GS Cookies, The Y, Sherbert, and many others etc, etc...

That is all if you wanna believe them...
Not saying you shouldn't believe them... just that anytime you ask for a strain's lineage you are going to get different answers depending on who you ask.

I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure "the source" of Cherry Pie will tell you that it's over 5 years old... it's been passed everywhere by now. that sucks you need to pack 48 per for an elbow like mack said. does it get a premium? I don't see how it would with how old it is and it not being a big name strain like GSC... I could be wrong tho, let's see some pics!
