i actually have 5 more NIRVANA cali o seeds. i saw a pic i googled along time ago and it looked similiar to what im talking aboout.

BUt when i grew it out it never amounted to much(read the first page of my thread in my SIganture) Idont know if it was my light or the strain but the last grow was cut short and the stain never yeided anything that passes my loose quality control
the plant stretched like crazy and smelt very fruity and know skunk to it. The nugs were super stringy and skeletony looking, they just kept stretching.
Hope you have better luck with them ICON
Im thinking about maaybe trying 2 mre seeds out but man im kind of SCARED HAHAHAHA

Alijah i can see some of the same genetic traits in your friends grow but its not quie exactly it (but who knows with pics)thanks for the link .
maybe theres some more OB pics out there

does anyone have the origonal ae77 Pictures

I think im just gonna try a couple different in the future and still keep searching for that flavor.

I would love to see more opics of any kind of Cali o, orange bud photos keep them coming

THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTIBUTED IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED

i hope you have good luck finding it too HAPPYTREE. i might buy some more in a few months of other breeders. maybe i'll get lucky with nirvanas & find a more orangey & compact pheno. maybe take the 5 seeds you have left & do a micro grow with them sort of a side project. but if you find something close to the old school strain HAPPYTREE feel free to post about it or PM me. peace :joint:

Hey, has anyone tried California Indica, from Sensi Seeds?
I was looking for a good orange flavored bud too. Heres the description they provide:

"A fine blend of sweet orange flavoured Californian strains, combined with a skunky hash flavoured Indica.
Got some going now, don't know what the smoke is like.Let you know in a couple of weeks.

Not sure if you checked out Chimera, I believe td maker mentioned it, but here is one of their strains. Maybe not what you want, but it may interest you.\
Breeder : Chimera Seeds

Calizahr.... the bitter orange. The 20 year old Cali-O clone, an old elite gem that has proven her worth in gardens all over north America gets down with pollen from the Shiskaberry red line.... and large yielding, very resinous line.

The purpose of this cross was to develop a line that produces large, resinous flowers that retain the characteristic citrus flavor and aroma of the 20 year old Cali-O mother, all the while improving upon her yield and resin production. The results culminate in an excellent plant, with lime green flowers that are covered in trichomes. Makes excellent hash.

Yield is high, plants are well suited for bush style grows. Flowering period is approximately 8 weeks

I will have a Orange Kush grow going a bit later in the year. This is a excellent Cali O crossed with a fire mother OG Kush. Came from the PNW. I will let you know how it comes out. Should be stellar. They even have a slight orange hue to them.

I want to pop them sooner but I am taking/toking the summer off/away. Have fun.

hehe, i should work a lil more on my box build..
it will allow me to grow non stop, .. i have a few for an outside grow this year,

but so far, ill have to wait for the weather to pick up.. its the last week of April, yet there's frost on the horizon during the nights still.

I'm hoping the weather will pick up soon, as i dont want to hold my young ladies inside for to long.. they are craving better light then the little they are getting through the window they are next to

Subcool (TGA)'s Jilly Bean is the most orange smelling genetics I have ever experienced. I had 2 pheno's, and one was just absolutely 120% orange. It smelled like fresh pinched orange peels, or "fast orange" soap that mechanics used. It was phenomenal.

Catnip - Agent orange crosses
TGA - Agent orange or Jillybean

I can vouch for the Agent Orange and Jilly Bean as I have really nice pheno's of both and they each have a heavy orange profile. The Jillybean has a more candy-store type profile while the Agent Orange has a more sweet or sour profile. Both are really good all day smoke.
I have several strains of Catnip beans in the jar that I want to get to soon, especially the Sour Diesel x Agent Orange. That Agent Orange male seems to be pretty special plant.
I've seen really good reviews on his gear, look in the Private Breeders area of this Forum.

Peace,
KF

Some flowering shots...Orange Kush

Some flowering shots...Orange Kush

Well I said I would be back with some pics and here they are. I only have 1 good 1 of the Orange Kush so far. Been super busy this grow and did not do a diary.
The Orange Kush @ about 6 weeks flowering time. Grown from seed from the good old PNW.
picture.php

Sweet citrus/funky reek to it. Very strong odor and pretty good trichome coverage as well.
I have 3 phenos of the OK going along with my standards(SSGoo, SSHaze and Chemdog)

Hey Happy: Dr. Pentothol over at Seedbay is really into orange flavors. It's probably not what you are looking for but it is orange.
