Floramite

D

DirkDiggla

Just looking at plants today and horror of horrors looks like I've got spidermites. Not had any new stock so can only guess the've been sucked into the room through an open window. After a bit of research decided Floramite was the best option but it seems hard to find. Eventually found some on ebay. It comes in 32ml test tubes delivered in two days costing 18.99. Wondered if anybody else has bought it off ebay as I was under the impression you could only buy it for commercial purposes. The seller take Paypal and seems legit. Any info would be appreciated ie does it work is it legit. Already ordered it so a bit late to go back will report back if it arrives.:ying:

After chatting with a guy in local shop purchased some Plant Vitality Plus he reckons its as good as Floramite. But kills a variety of other nasties as well as giving your plants a boost. Sounds a bit to good to be true.

Cheers for the info not had any new stock it something thats come in from outside so hopefully wont be broadmites had loads of clovermites on the walls and window ledges of the house maybe them? But floramite kills them as well. Theres none on buds all on the leaves. Like the sound of the plant vitality plus the guy in shop said its top seller with his customers and they all give positive results will spray all cuttings and young plants with it over summer as a preventitive. But wil use floramite on infested big ones as its meant to last 28 days.

Got one of those fleabay floramite packs earlier this year , can confirm it is the named product and not watered down .

Would spray with this as well to be certain of no return in late flower.

Cheers foomar already five weeks into flower was thinking of spraying the floramite as well but this late in might keep a close eye on things for a few a days dont really want to overload them with chemicals. But If I spot anything in next three days will spray, bought one of those pump up pressure sprayers excellent tool for the job you can can the nozzle right inside the canopy spraying upwards. Thanks for letting me know its the real stuff the guy who sells it seems pretty cool. Its a real thick white liquid. You only need 1ml of the floramite to make a litre. Plenty off it as got 32ml. I know some are really into organic stuff but I prefer a good chemical that does the job. Lol. As it stands I'm thinking the Plant Vitality Plus is amazing stuff.

I would highly recommend Mighty Wash if you can get it. It is pricy but SAFE to use, even in flower, and since I started using it I have not had mites. It is made by a electrical reaction with water. I have started working on making it DIY at home.

Just my 2 cents, but if you can get away from toxic pesticides then you should. In the medical market I am in it is becoming necessary to meet testing requirements.

Hope this helps!

well not sure about banned but the dude in the growshop said they had been told to stop selling it or face a £20,000 fine!! or something along those lines?
(in the same shop H&G has the same silver bottles?)

Already tried the Mightie wash, I would say it does work but you have to spray each spider mite to kill them. (on big plants is easy to miss one or two.) on a small scale the MW seems quiet good although on a bigger scale Pv plus seems to do a more economical and better job overall. (also works out way cheaper)

Its one week later and not a mite in site very impressed with pv+. It comes in one litre ready to use spray bottles on fleabay. Just put it in search on fleabay loads of places sell it not sure if they have changed ingredients or there ignoring ban. Looked up one of the ingredients and it appeared to be the same as Avid. Its about £10 a litre will always have a bottle on standby just in case now.
