Getting Sticking Clones in SoCal

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
I apologize if this isn't in the right place and/or this has been answered recently.

I have the opportunity to grow again and since I live in Southern California, I have access to some great stuff. I want very potent weed. From seed is ok but clones are preferable. I have been out of the loop for a couple years but I found a place in Santa Monica that sells Gage Green Genetics.

My plan was to head there this weekend before thinking to consult the minds of icmag. Does anyone have some local SoCal knowledge they could share? Thanks!

holy fucking hell is bread in the clone factories in so cal

fusarium and verticillium just to name a few of the gems you will bring home with your clones, potentially of course

I still say start seeds or find a friend who has something, the clubs are like having unprotected sex in a whorehouse in New Jersey

Ok, there are a lot of listings. Sorry for the string of newb questions but here goes.

Is there a chance I get something less than excellent? If so, how do I avoid that? I noticed two classes of seed. Most were $40 but some were $100. Is there a noticeable difference in potency between those classes?

I'll hunt for threads but direct answer wouldn't be shunned

I am in cali with the card and do all my grows from seed. I do not care for the so called kush and most of the other stuff I sampled at the dispensaries so you may be different.

Grandaddy Purple from Ken, SAD from Sweet Seeds, Maple Leaf Indica from Sensi, Northern Lights from Nirvana. All part of my current rotation.

Am running Northern Lights and Humboldt Purple from Classic Seeds, also Sweet Tooth from Deluxe Seeds. Most likely I will find 1 or all of them to be good enough to keep going. Not expensive any of them.

Mandala has good seeds for cheap. Did a real good Skunk from Seedsman for cheap.

All those clones came from seed so if you want a ultimate pheno you could get one in time from running a bunch of seeds. I always keep a male and make some seeds from anything decent. Chop off a branch at 2 or 3 weeks, separate from the females, wait till he pops and use pollen to dust lower buds.

trusting the clubs in so cal to not give you plant AIDS is like finding yourself drugged and gagged next to a bear in the hills outside SF

Ive had a great time using California Medical Clones...

Loving every minute of it and cant wait to go back for more.

Weed maps and your zip code the search clones in the menus..

Just look at the clones they have close and ask question...

If they are at all good the breeder should be able to handle anything ya want to know.
If you get a few I dont know's... Walk away....

Just keep clones separate from your other ladies
for a week of so and watch for issues.

want to see your plants wilt and just die for no reason, when they are flowering no less, mid flower most likely. Want to see your clones just die, do you want to take the risk of needing to start over, then have fun


wilting is often thought of to come from bugs, but it is really a fungus, and so cal spreads it like (______________)

clean the hell out of everything you have in your room/ outside it, and start seeds

I use medicated shampoo, it has anti fungal meds in it, to wash my hands and arms before working

For seeds, I suggest ograskal's white fire ( wifi ). The best seed strain I have ever run. Difficult to pick a keeper. Every female is very very good.
