lately I have be some problems with my plants! First, appear small brown spots in the center of the leaves, then the edge of the leaves begins to burn and yellow and finally she ends up falling!

I had this same problem on week 4 12/12

In my opinion, I'm with calcium deficiency? Or have other problems? Hard water? PPm tap is less than 0,1 EC

- Soiless, Coco with perlite. 75/25
- Peters Hi-nitro EC- 0,7

** I was using calmag plus bottanicare, but realized it was cloudy and possibly spoiled!

Start with New Calimagic 1ml/L two days ago spray/watering and the leaves keep falling, yellowing!

The product takes a long time to act?

Many thanks for anyone who can help me solve this!

Yeah that is a calcium deficiency with maybe a nitrogen deficiency. Try getting 200ppm of cal/mag in your RO water. I have had calcium problems and once I hit the 200ppm mark it goes away. It should be fixed right away but whats damaged is permanent.

Thats not a cal mag def.

it looks like your plants are locked out or ec is too high as they are burning.

flush with phd water until the ec rises and then begins to fall again. flush till at around 4-600ppm and feed light till they recover.

Thanks Guys!

Poppyteabag, Did you think that even with Ec they can develop nutrient burn? Till now, I never went over the limit of 600 ppm considering base nut + calmag...
Following this direction, I´m supposed that the PH lockout or a calmag/NPK deficiency is the answer, or not?? :)

So, today i did another flush with tap EC 0,5 / PH 6.0. Runoff: EC 0,48 PH 5,8.

Fedd with Calimagic Ec 0,3 and Fosway (P,K) EC 0,4, total 0,7.

Also. I did a foliar spray last two nigths with a calimagic 1ml/L.

I hope they get better!

I think your on the correct path to health.

I recently stopped use of my calmagic and within two weeks I had this, definitely Cal deficiency.

Once u see burnt tips thats a sign of overfeeding. Not sure if you let your coco dry out and salts built up but from the flush it doesnt seem that your over nuted.

I find a flush and readded of just a base nute at 400ppm should fix most things. if it doesnt a transplant will.

Hey third coast thanks for the advice and photos. What brand CalMag do you use?

Cheers,
Budelight

Edit: nvm I found it! General Hydroponics - CaliMagic

FYI -
GH calimagic is 5% Ca and 1.5% Mg and the Ca is from CaCO3, calcium carbonate. Some say too much CO3 can cause issues.
Botanicare CaMg is 3.2% Ca and 1.2% Mg with both from nitrates.

So if one suspects Mg issue botanicare is better. I keep both on the shelf and switch from GH (veg) to Bot. in flower.
