i have an acquaintance who lives in a teepee at 9500' in colorado quite comfortably and completely off grid so yeah a yurt would be downright roomy, lol.

do you mean you poop sitting down?
How did people poop before the toilet was invented? I think civilization got along just fine. Squatting to poop is actually healthier for you than sitting on a toilet.

Not sure if I would permanently live in one, however friends of mine have a yurt and it's pretty cool. Reccomend if you're camping! :D

Oh yeah mwz

Do they move their yurt often? Is it just set on the ground or do they have a base that moves with it too?

Whats with the hole in the middle at the top, how do you close that off to winter. Do they all have this feature?

The hole at the top is due to the compression ring which surrounds it and is an important structural element in a yurt design. The radial rafter set pushes in against the ring at the peak while the lower ends of the rafters push out against a tension ring around the outside of the cylinder. The tension ring is usually a steel cable but you could use rope. Compression rings can be a work of art, put a small dome skylight over the hole or use it for a chimney. It is an essential part of an elegant structural design.

You are not a pro pooper, until you have shit in a plastic bag, whilst occupying an underground tunnel, dug under a piece of ancient woodland that the local government wants to tear down to build a road or some ugly housing development.
Great fun, especially when you open the bucket to put your sealed up plastic bag in, you forget every time that the bucket already has everyone elses turd bags in it. Sleeping next to 25 1litre pop bottles filled with piss is not for the "Tourist" casual eco-warrior. Definitely no toking in them there tunnels either.
