Most have shown sex and are looking good...I think I had more males than females from both strains...but will get a final count when I get pics hopefully in a day or two.

I'll get a quick shot of males as well before they get the axe.

...And the trinity runt I can't seem to get growing. She will have to be left behind. Hats off to you Red, things are looking good my friend. I haven't been able to give these as much attention as I like but they have still been performing. :tiphat:

lookin good. i see most of yours appear to be sativa leaners by the leaves. the one ortega i have about to flower has the space between the leaves so tight it looks like 1 big solid leaf with no spaces. the leaflets all overlap each other. i'm guessing in your crosses the ortega was the recessive trait.

Note:

"Plant A" posted above for the Trinity x Ortega is actually a GRS Mr. Nice Mystery surprise pack female.

Somehow 2 labels ended up in the pot...but I'm 99% sure it's NOT a RedEyed test subject.

Therefore, that leaves us with 2 Trinity x Ortega Females(I killed off the runt)....and 4 Purple Elephant x Ortega Females.

I have to stop going in the garden baked on bubble. Seems we actually do have 3 Trinity x Ortega (even after I dispatched the runt above) and 4 Purp Elephant x Ortega.

All looking great...and are in 2 and 3 gallon pots. With the major heat wave around here the last week, they had to endure about 6-8 straight days with high temps but surely these are some resilient ladies. My portable A/C has automatic shutoff when the room gets somewhere in the 85-90 degree range and with temps around my neck of the woods getting well into the 100's with heat index....plants had to deal with mid to upper 90's in their home a few days. I pulled the lights back to about 18-24 inches above tops and made sure there were a bunch of fans pumping to minimize any burns, stress, etc. that could have occurred. Temps are steady now range anywhere from mid 60's to low 80's depending on temp outdoors. Hopefully last week will be the hottest stint of the summer 'round here.

Smells so far.....Trinity x Ortega has a nice classic citrus-y fuel OG smell on a couple. I'm also enjoying the stink on a couple Purp Elephant x Ortega...but it's definitely unique, give me a couple weeks.

Sorry bout the pics under HPS all, but that's easiest way for me to update right now...but when they're full of chunky buds I promise to get some good lighting and put them against the black background to really show em off. :smoke:

Right on man great updates! Cant wait to see what you find in these! Any colored pistils? We have seen this in a few plants and now we are on the look out.

Everything looking good by my standards...I've been toying with my space to maximize yield/efficiency for a few months now so I'm still far from dialed. I also have a lot going on right now outside the growroom, so these definitely haven't got any pampering from me this go around. Don't forget these also suffered nearly 10 straight days of 90+ degree heat not too long ago...and have manage to come through just fine. Product of fine genes if you ask me.

"Plant 4"

...Looks like it'll be the best yielder of the group and is about a foot taller than her 3 sisters. Surprisingly enough, this one is in a 2 gallon pot...most others are in 3 gallon.
