too MUCH exhaust? possible? extreme ventilation, etc?

You know what guys, I must be going crazy. Unless I'm doing this math wrong, I have sat here and realized that with even the smallest 4" inline fan, my small 6 cubic ft cab will be receiving a complete air exchange EVERY 2 SECONDS. I am starting to picture some kind of wind tunnel that eliminates the need for a circulation fan. But other than that, is there any harm in "extreme ventilation?"

I dont think your plants will be happy growing in a wind tunnel
might be better off with axial fan

You could make an argument for less air exchange, but in the grand scheme it probably doesn't matter much. You could go axial or get a fan controller and turn it down, if only for the noise level. Also when you hook up a filter the airflow will decrease.

Unless your plants are being physically hurt by the amount of air rushing past them, there is no such thing as too much exhaust.

Your math is wrong. That cfm rating is with nothing connected on either end.
I assume your going to blow/suck through a carbon filter? Also, you cab is closed, yes?
Even with some inlet holes, you'll still have neg pressure.

Ventilation 101.

"........I recommend 5 Minutes per Air Change and no more than 1-2 MpAC to keep stress down on the plants. High airflow rates cause excessive dehydration which is hard on the plants [causing stress][sic]. "
-Directions for cabinets or rooms of all sizes.

Yes, a bunch of air blowing past it will create problems, you will be constantly watering at least.
