Good mention on this heat. Made me get back in my room and run ducting a bit more efficiently. Stepped the cooling up a bit and also stepped the exhausting up exponentially. Checked on the room an hour ago and she is finally holding steady at 76* and 57% RH.

Just getting started in their new no till organic buckets. Highs in the cab hit 99 the last couple of days and not a lot I can do about it on my limited wattage draw. Looks like we're cooling off over the next couple of days if you live within 10 miles of the beach.

This heat wasn't as bad as last summer's, but this one is just getting started, I think. If your situ isn't on temp lockdown, all you can hope for is that you aren't getting the heat during the last 3-4 weeks of their lifecycle. I have to resort to shutting a certain % of my lights down to keep temps in line. For a few days, it's worth it.

im trying to wrap my head around the dud situation out here.... ive read on it a bit...

what i really wann kno is, if i were to mistakenly get a dudded cut, would that then put my other plants at risk for the same... i think it was deemed broad mites and remaining toxins like systemic sytle??? does this equate to a contageous plant?

sorry i kno its like beating a dead horse... would hate to see some of these genetics get sick...

oh also is it mainly the dub line that has it or others?.... ill have to get with josey on if gg4 is at risk due to bog gear? lol yall can see where my heads at here

The plant would only be contagious if it still had broad mites - they could move to other plants and infest them / poison them with toxins in saliva.

I doubt that clones taken with the same blade from affected to unaffected plants would show similar issues, though I would be safe and sterilize the blade between uses.

....and then there's always the option of growing from seed...

Happy 4th Everyone!
Here's a group pic of the plants that will be the next "By the Community for the Community" project.

We're going to reverse the Chem91 cut and take that pollen to ChemD, Daywrecker & Rascal OG. Pack your bags for a Seed Trip y'all!

Very sativa leaning phenos of plants like that can offer multiple harvest windows. I've been told to NOT harvest when a new flush of pistils happens and wait for a down cycle. I've heard some say some sats NEVER seem to want to finish and eventually they give up and yank them.

That Yunan X Viet Black looks sweet.

serious patience my friend, a rare quality in growers today, this is a true example of love of growing and respect for the plant. mad props brother

Another project complete, I'd say it was a success. I know with a larger population something better could be found but I'm happy with what I got. I'd say the stability, based on traits passed from each parent, is excellent. There is 50% representation of both parents present in almost every characteristic. One thing stands out though, yield. Huge yields with this girl, atleast 50% larger yields than either parent's potential.
