Poppies.

I'm not going to get into my medical history, and marijuana doesn't stop this pain. But i have to take what i call a mild pain medication (3 hydrocodone/lortab 10mg) for the rest of my life according to my doctor. I Been taking these things for 4 years straight.

But i'm thinking of growing poppies (Papaver Somniferum) indoors as i think i would be more better for me in the long run, because it is natural. But i would still like to take my recommend dossage 3 x 10mg a day.

Has anyone had experience growing poppies indoors and how would i go out measuring the extracted opium?

I think growing them outside is better. Poppies tend to grow tall and lanky indoor.

Also, if you find a way to make tea or what ever out of them, be careful.. Those things can make you addicted.. :) (dont mean to sound dumb, because I dont know how addictive the other meds you are taking is, I just heard some tough stories about something as simple as poppie tea..)

growing indoors wasn't hard...Much easier outside though....just chop and dry..Indoors was a whole lot of work for very little reward. Easier to just toss seeds in the early spring and let them grow themselves.

2-3 pods is what I used to use in my tea...just plain old pap somnif....addictive tho..watch out..

I used to grow a batch every year for those times when I would screw up my back...a couple of nights of that and I would be back on track.

Pretty sure I used to use lemon juice in my Tea....unless that was for my shroom smoothies...regardless..BE CAREFUL
