Simple Carbon Filter question

Hey guys,

My local hydro store has a 550CFM phresh carbon filter, however my fan is a 400CFM fan thats on a speed controller.

Is this filter too larger for the fan to pull through?

Kind Regards

Yep no problem! In theory you'll get better life from the filter if pulling lower than the max rated cfm.. Best of luck! TTK

Sweet. Thanks man, good info to know:) My odor has never been an issue until now. I walked up to the floor above my apartment and boy howdy does it have a good odor. The tent seems to not smell but obviously the dryer ducting does not lead directly outside....

^ what Keeper said is right... you don't want to use a bigger fan....

I would run the fan full speed and keep the speed controller all the way up

The bigger the filter compared to the fan, the more efficient your fan runs - less airflow resistance.
