HPS 1000 bulbs

I'm on Amazon and see bulbs from $29-$150 or so. Anyone have some recommendations on what is crap and what works best? I'd like to get at least 2 cycles per bulb and not shy about spending what is needed. Which doesn't always mean buying the most expensive. Thanks

I've heard mixed things on bulbs and have run all different kinds... none have really burnt out prematurely and I don't have a light meter so they are all the same to me. That being said, I still buy Hortilux 1000s for $66 on Amazon.

depends on what type of ballast U run....myself...yes Horti Red eye... as well

If you're only using the bulb for two runs I suggest Plantmax lamps.
