Yep just got done listening to the radio. Looks like we can expect an average of 75 bucks more per 250 dollars on your electric bill. I don't know how you do it sunset, at residential rates, my 2 bulb run still costs me 360 a month. Something that big, only way I know to do that involves wiring a relay and some wiring in places it shouldn't be.

Wow Storm Shadow the soil those plants are in looks like absolute crap. How big of a hole did you dig and replace with good soil? Doesn't look like much. The native soil looks like hard pan/clay. You would have been better off going with something like Smart Pots. Big learning curve going from indoor hydro to outdoor. You're gonna leave so much money on the table you have no idea. You've probably lost at least half of what you could have gotten. Quality will also suffer. If late season rains come those holes those plants are in will become anaerobic ponds. You should have at least gone with mounds...jeez.

yea unfortunetly im being forced to buy one of those portable ac units on casters to alleviate the heat... even running at night is too hot last few days....
kills me to do it cause i know within a few ill need a mini split, but some things just gotta be done inthe name of the dank

Another group of morons get burned while playing with butane extraction. What is the point of screwing with explosives when the plant alone will get you high? Talk about making the medical community look bad.
This thread has proven it though flower analysis - bho offers all of benefits of huffing butane.. I do not get the appeal.

^^^while i feel you on one level, that's analogous with saying that the asian triads who use paclo and slave labor and stolen electricity to rattle off $1500 indoor make a strong case that growing herb is a bad idea. they may be bad for the community, bad for the environment, or even just generally bad people, but it's an ad hominem to impeach what they make on account of their personal failings.
these kids were clearly morons. blasting inside. hell, blasting into the air at all. it's not tough to understand how things like this happen though. fact of the matter is trim was basically trash to most of us a couple years ago. now it's cash. while most growers i know are hip to it and either process their own or hand it off to someone trusted who does it responsibly, there are still a few who are willing to give theirs away for peanuts. on the other side of the equation, there are a lot of kids who don't have the knowledge or resources to set up a proper grow (much less extract safely)
who think that they can break into the scene by buying a pound of trim and a case of butane and a hot plate. too often, this is how it works out. they need to be taken to task, no doubt. but concentrate is the bidness. there is definitely a craft to it, peolpe are crazy about it, and it's not going anywhere.
ps. i just watched the tv piece and it said they were growing 20 plants and were behind on their rent too. kind of reinforces my point. obviously these were not people who were on top of their game.

this heat is a monster. if your environmentals aren't dialed and your room gets hot, please remember to provide ample cool water as your plants will transpire exponentially more at high temps. and NO FEEDING!

I have not watered these one gallon seedlings since the 24th and the planter bed since the 17th of this month, and its hot as hell in the IE and even hotter in my greenhouse, no fan but I do have 6 windows open
I wonder why the plants dont burn or dry out as fast or as easy as indoors? Its amazing how different a greenhouse and indoor growing can be from one to the other.

In the last picture the bed has not been watered for 12 days plants are fine, they will be watered on the 1st.
One gallons have not been watered for 5 days, they will be watered on the 1st on the 7th day.
The one gallon seedlings were planted on the 10th, I have watered them 3 times in there life so far... pretty fast growing for adding so little.
I always thought you had to be comfortable in the growing environment for the plants to do well, but I would die spending a day in my greenhouse lol Its over 100 degrees outside and even hotter in the greenhouse

Dubblecheese isn't what I expected. It's a one-off. One seed is all the cross produced and this is her in all her glory. I'm not sure how much better I can run her a second round. for 46 days the size is legit..very chunky indeed.. definitely a weight player...but the smell.. It just isn't what I hoped for. If she doesn't reek in the next week, she might not make the cut. The trich density is legit, lots of little diamond covered calyx. The grease factor is ok, touch her on her delicate parts and she imparts a nice buttery nectar. I like her but her neighbors are just so fine.. I mean we live in San Diego... The free worlds finest city.. there are just so many fine females around here

here is my burgundy5.... burg is rasberry kush x (ecsd x hp13)...
the 5 is a hp pheno.... i have a #6 thats a kush dom that is getting really beefy also but lil younger...
here she is approaching 50 days doin the flop.... im taking her this week at 56.. im thinking i have my numbers wrong cause seems too early... ill do her again and pay more attention to dates...
the smells are berry citrus and they are tight and hard... i dont see them shrinking too much during drying
and while im here i am really starting to get psyched bout this eagle scout cut i have...
eagle scout is forum gsc x (skywalker cut x jo og).... the smells coming from her in veg are reminiscent of blue dream plant smells... This is a skywalker dominant cut... im familiar with joseph and i can tell cause she spits almost the same leaf sets as the skywalker cut
