The EU is thinking about banning them--- Fuck me sideways what planet are these people on.

Well, about 90% of my customers wont touch another cigarette after they try electronic cigarettes..

That's A LOT of revenue lost from cigarette taxes....

But what about health care costs associated with lung issues with cigarettes?

Its a big fuck up of who gets the peoples cash....

Like I said, smoke and mirrors. It's always easiest to follow the money to see who's pushing (lobbying) for what and why :moon:.

On a side note thanks for the ecig recommendation. Love my ego c with the kanger carts. Really changed the way I medicate.

Vaping for over three years here. Currently on a Vtube. I was using a homebuilt Evercool before variable voltage became more commonplace. Was fun but my soldering skills aren't that great.

4.0V on a 2.5ohm 510 atty is my sweet spot. My daily vape is Doublemint Gum 24mg from Freedom Smoke USA down in Tucson.

I've been seeing more and more people vaping. It's great. It got me off cigs and though at first I was planning on weening my self off of it I found that I enjoy it about 1000x more than I ever enjoyed cigs. One little nicotine addiction ain't gonna kill me. On it's own it's really no worse than caffeine. :dance013:

I can't friggen wait to try oil in this thing. Big thanks to krunch for that thread. You won't find that on ECF let me tell ya. Not growing atm and don't have any access to oil though so unfortunately that'll have to wait.

Oh, and any legislation against e-cigs is a bunch of bullshit. There are studies going back decades that show absolutely no ill effects from inhaling pg vapor. Like said before, and like anything else in modern government, follow the money.

Twice now Ive had ejuice shoot into my eye when Im closing the cap on the tube that holds the ejuice in the ecig.
After the burning stopped it felt like there was a hard spot on my eyelid.
Im sure its never happened to anyone else but me, but look out when closing those little fucking tops

Well I just tried my 1st E-cig, and I'm sold....I got a disposable just to try it out (10 motives) and I can't believe how much like a cig it is.
I'm going to finish up this packet of baccy and then I'm buying a rechargeable.

I love my ego 650 and 900 mah with dual coil 3.5ml tank and custom drip tip, I dropped analogs instantly, I've been smoking 40 years and started last year on the regular el cheapo ecig then upgraded to the ego a couple of months ago.
I've ordered some custom juices from heathersheavenlyvapes and have also enjoyed my 24mg tobacco flavors too.
Got my 70yr old mother who has smoked all her life on the ego she was sold instantly, and now my wife has one also, whoot
No more real tobacco for this guy, and I feel good about that.

I keep seeing these all over where I live...every dispensary sells them here...there's a few names, but I can't remember who right now..very cool looking for sure...pretty modern way to intake herbs. Would like to get one but will have to wait until I get another job for now, which could be a few months..lol..they look awesome and all the reviews are positive, so yeah, I'm gonna try one out when I can.

You can order everything you need for oil online, for about 40 bucks shipped to your door. Another 10-12 bucks if you want eliquid. I wouldn't bother getting ripped off at a dispensary. All that's needed is an ego c upgrade (or any 510 battery) and a pack of kanger 2.7-3.2 ohm cartomizers. Get the lower ohm (1.7 ohm) carts for eliquid. That is all that's needed.

It's funny you mention hookah, because that is what I think this E-cig I'm using is like. It is like hookah with proper hookah tobacco, not those herbal non tobacco mixes sold in headshops.
If any UK users could give me a heads up about a good place to buy a rechargeable and refills etc that would be great, googling gives the usual bewildering array of sites.

I strongly agree about the hookah comparison also.. Only been vaping for a little over a month, but I agree it is a lott like having a personal hookah. What smoker wouldn't love being able to take huge thick hookah-tokes anytime, anywhere they want without carrying one around? :D

Never been a fan of nicotine.

I bought a ego and a bunch of juice and carts/tanks awhile back.

Played with it for awhile, but I really want to use oil in it.

I have plenty of bubble and dry ice hash. What do I need to do to make a proper oil that won't gum up the ego 510?

Appreciate the input guys.

Wish I could just go to the local dispensary and buy some oil!

I'm pretty sure there's a thread or 2 around here that shows exactly how to make your hash-oil usable with your e-cigarette hempy.
I'm pretty sure you dilute your oil/concentrate with propolyne glycol or vegetable glycerin somehow, to make a ready to vape THC E-Liquid. :)
... If I recall ^krunchbubble is the OP of this thread. I would love to try it myself if I had an abundance of hash-oil available, guess I'll have to wait til my state goes med/rec and opens a dispensar lol

I'm trying out mixing a few flavors for my eGo Tank and it is absolutely delicious!! I'm puffing on a mixture of about 60% Roasted Marshmellow, 30% Chocolate, and 10% Tobacco-flavor, and it's realllyy greatt :D

^^The 3 e-liquids I mixed are all different nicotine levels so I'm guessing the mixture I made is about 14mg/Ml. When I started vaping about 2 months ago I was using around 16-18mg, but next time I purchase more e-liquid I'm going to get the 10-12mg range; I really notice a lot more flavor at lower nic-levels, but lose some throat hit.

All my e-liquids are 50/50% reduced PG (half VG, half PG).. I'm loving trying out different flavors and combinations of flavors. :)
... So what flavors and nicotine-levels have you guys been puffing on?

Your voltage and resistance is perfect...

More resistance = less vapor
Lower resistance = burnt juice

Lowest resistance to use with a 3.7 volt pen IS 1.7 ohm, beyond that and your burning...

If you use oil in your carts, the higher 2.7-3.1 ohm cartos work perfectly, lower resistance tends to burn oils...

Try a Vivi Nova Tank, one of the better tanks for flavor, dependability and vapor production. Cost around $10-15 and comes with three coils. For EVEN better flavor, switch out the plastic tank for an aluminum one...

here's a chart that may help some people

I just bought a fancy eCig battery + supply which:

1) has a lot of fancy features which ought to be very useful to someone who is trying to quite smoking, such as logging detailed usage information, alarms after a pre-set number of puffs, or total puff time, or uses-per-day, etc; very flexible. Can be connected to a computer's USB port to download use info, configure the pen with a few PC-only features, and for charging.

2) uses a 2600 mA/hr "18650" Li-Po battery
3) uses the ecig 510 cartridge thread - probably most common thread
4) can be used with 510-thread accessories including dabs set-ups
5) adjustable voltage / wattage, customizable power profiles during single toke
6) automatically measures resistance of e-nail coil, recommends power setting
7) one of the largest and most popular eCig makers (China)

The battery/supply I bought is Joyetech's "eVic" model:
http://www.joyetech.com/product/eVic.php

I also just ordered an e-nail/glass globe kit for vaping wax/shatter/dabs. The e-nail cup is ceramic, and the heating element is titanium wire (not nickel-chrome) wound on glass fiber.

I used this exact same set-up that a friend had bought to see how well it worked before I bought mine. The heater threads onto the cartridge connection, and the bowl slides over the e-nail. The kit includes extra e-nails (heaters). This is the dabs attachment I bought:
http://www.ruvaped.com/shop/glass-globe-attachment/

Hope this helps.

I am vaping some Island Sweet Skunk / Sweet Island Skunk as I write this from my shiny new Joyetech eVic battery unit. I've used it all day yesterday and half of today without recharging it, its battery meter reads 85% right now. It has an auto-shutoff (adjustable time) which helps save battery life between puffing sessions. My local dispensary carries a nice selection of 250mg or 500mg (total content) cartridges in various strains (butane extractions).

I've only had the unit a few days but I'm quite impressed with it so far. It was $105 at an ecig store near me.

I've just ordered the "glass globe accessory kit" from ruvaped.com ($40) which fits the eVic and many others. A couple of nights ago, a few friends and used this set-up at a club, all night. It tastes just like using a quartz nail and a torch in a regular dabs rig. Only real difference is perhaps a slightly smaller wax capacity.

Ewwwwww, it's risky to say what I am about to say but I'm gonna say it for those few & rare individuals like myself who might read this thread and feel left out:

I've been smoking cigarettes since 1978. Earlier this year I had bronchitis and it was taking a long time to clear up---even with anti-biotics---so I thought, "Hmm, I wonder if it'll clear up faster if I temporarily switch to e-cigs?"

So I bought one.
I spent an afternoon puffing on it...
First of all, I did not like the taste. It took me hours to try and figure out what it reminded me of---and then it hit me: It tasted like the smell you smell after a long drive on a hot summer's day---the smell of burning brake pads.

I also realized that I actually enjoy the taste of tobacco smoke and its 5,000 chemicals. I actually enjoy the taste of tar...It is not satisfying enough to just inhale nicotine fumes; I actually like the taste of smoke. I also enjoy exhaling smoke. I know it sounds crazy but it is my personal truth.

So I puffed on this e-cig throughout the afternoon & evening and then went to bed. A few hours later I woke up scratching my arm. I went to the bathroom and looked at my arm and it was covered in hives---and so was the rest of my body. I broke out BIG TIME.

I hopped onto the WWW and typed in "E-cig allergic reaction". It mentioned that e-cigs contain Propylene glycol and that some people have allergic reactions to it when using e-cigs. It was horrible. I itched so bad that I cold not sleep.

I took some antihistamine (cetirizine) and no change. I went to the doctor and she gave me Allegra/Telfast (fexofenadine) and no change. The next day she gave me some prednisone and it only helped a little bit. Basically I had to ride it out for about a week. It was a truly horrible, ghastly week of almost no sleep and terrible itching fits. The itching would come in waves...Sometimes hours would go by with little or no itching and then it would come on with an intense vengeance.

I threw away that e-cig and went back to my Winston Reds. My bronchitis cleared up in a week or so. I've been smoking ever since with no cough whatsoever.

I concluded that I enjoy smoking tobacco. I felt weird puffing on the e-cig for just the nicotine fumes. Felt more like a junkie puffing on that e-cig than I did puffing on a real cigarette.

I like smoke. I like sucking it in and blowing it out. I have never lost any sense of taste or smell. And I don't worry about cancer or any other smoking related diseases. Worry & bad moods & self-loathing & stress cause more cancer than just about anything else in this temporary, physical world.

Ain't raining on your parade of e-cigs. More power & pleasure to y'all. Just telling the truth for those few people who might relate or who are prone to hives (like me).

Ecigs & quitting tobacco.......

Ecigs & quitting tobacco.......

OK, pardon the prior rant.

quitting is as easy as knowing that you're fucking up your body & life and owning up to doing the right thing. you've got to turn it off like a switch.

stay away from triggers like going to the bar, sure everyone will step outside to smoke but your willpower is broken down by alcohol and you'll soon use one excuse or another to join them outside. do your drinking @ home & invite non-smokers to join you if you hate to drink alone.

buy a bag of atomic lemonheads & pop one in your maw every time you find yourself cravin' a smoke. get into a hobby that will give you some satisfaction.

It's very hard to take something away from someone w/out replacing it with something else, let that something else be healthy not just a watered down crutch.
