Wonderful news, mpd! I'm so happy for both of you and wish you all the best. Are you giving her Rick Simpson oil as well, or is she only on chemo?

Yeah, it is all good. I think she has even put on some weight. We'll know at the weigh-in, but she is still scary thin and I remain vigilant for her pending crash because she has so few energy reserves. Her hair has just about all fallen out and her new worry is that I am going to leave her because she has no hair and thinks she looks hideous.

How many ways can you say I couldn't care less about that crap? After 30 years we aren't worrying about that kind of stuff. I love her and love taking care of her because of who she is and what she has accomplished in helping others. It's her turn and I am so thankful to the Deity that I can be there for her when she needs it. Namaste!

Appearance is not important, to you?
Good man!

It is to her though.
A new hat, or a good quality wig, will do wonders for her morale.

It is not enough, just to survive.
She needs to feel like she is regaining control of her life, my friend.
Try not to coddle.
Let her do as much as she can as she recuperates.
It's part of the mental healing.

That's all I got.

Aloha nui,
Stay well.

For a tough guy it's still no shame to pop some tears of joy. I believe I just did. Consider them my vibes to Marilynn.
