much love to BOG!
BOG if you are feeling overwhelmed to constantly produce some new killer strains then take a deep breath like i know you can do......
One reason your strains are the tightest in the land is the fact that once you stabilized all the killer traits you chose the most vigorous individuals to perpetuate them.....the choosing of vigorous individuals to perpetuate the specific set of traits is probably very tiresome indeed and might not be as fun as crossing plants to see what happens with the genetics.....i imagine the identification of new and different traits is what is most fun about being a breeder, but i could be wrong.....
anyway.....wouldn't it be nice if once you stabilized a particular variety and coerced it to express the quality that you demand you could then transfer that strain to "BOG's Quality Contrrol Unit" who are a group of cultivators who, under your supervision, select the most vigorous individuals to ensure that your new strain's specific phenotype is encapsulated in plants that are quick to clone and supremely vigorous in vegetative growth? Hopefully you would expect all growers to improve upon the seeds they are given but many clone, effectively halting the acceleration of vigor....not that i am anti-cloning or anything......but it is known that the telomeres involved in DNA replication are as old as the original mother plant and could contribute to errors in DNA replication......mind you i said this COULD happen......i know there are plenty of clones that are 20+years or so old and i have personally seen a Vietnamese clone brought back by a GI that was one of the most vigorous plants i have ever seen.....no genetic drift in that clone.....its sap was blood red i kid you not!
anyway i have gotten off topic.....
i am thankful that you have shared your genetic blessings with the community here....cannabis genetics flow like a river with many tributaries and wide spots and narrow rocky spots as well.....because of prohibition and governmental crackdowns on cannabis growers i believe the river has entered into a bottleneck.....but the community has banded together (just like IC website) and genetics from all over the globe are suddenly being shared with each other as different varieties which have been genetically isolated from one another are brought together in a single individual.....so in that regard there is hope for the future......
look inside yourself for the answer......
