Hmm i would think there might be alot of people putting up supporting stuff tdy in NorCal? Looks like a pretty soaking rain in the wet areas and windy in a lot of areas too.. kinda like the spring we never had. hope you all come through good and your plants enjoy the warmer and dryer weather by the end of the week!

Hey what's up my fellow deep sea fishers!! I got some seven footers in the ground right now, normally I'd use concrete mesh cages to support the branches but, before I do that, I'd like to ask has anyone here come up with a better way?

I've heard heard talk of bamboo stakes and trellis netting and I wonder what that looks like exactly? Anyone got any pics? I imagine it's just 4 12 foot bamboo stakes with trellis attached and maybe there is a more creative way? Also, what type of trellis do you prefer and why?

Has anyone had any problems with the metal cages heating up in the 100 degree July weather and withering a leaf or branch?

Thanks!

To support a large plant, I use T posts in the ground. Ziptie the trellis netting to it. The posts can be extended in height with bamboo or rebar.

I make boxes with 2x2s or brute sapling poles buried 1' in the ground and connected with smaller pieces up top.

Then I suspend a thick wire hoop over the plant, with a "skirt" of hortonova descending to the plant.

No metal, everything sways but doesn't fall. Sometimes I have used a single t-post on one of the corners to stabilize the structure, but that was the first time I tried this and didn't bury the poles (you should def bury the poles).

Still close to 15h daylight here. Hot as hell today and close to 100 but the White Romulan is handling it like a champ.

Things have been moving at a steady clip here at the Summer Camp. Everything is growing prolifically and all the products I wanted to try this year are working out better than I had expected.

The diffused light allowed me to take some great pictures...

All in all couldn't be happier!

igrowkushbitch - great start, looks spot on. Why do you place the smart pots on pallets? Only reason I ask is you appear to have plastic down on the bottom of your green house. With that down you shouldn't have issues with the dry ground soil wicking away moisture. Curious minds must know, thanks.

hey organicbuds the property were are on is full of weeds. We didn't want to have weeds all over our pots. So we laid down the weed cloth and put in pallets. Also we felt putting the pots on pallets would give us better air to the roots.

Guess what I have aquired? The real deal cut of Gorilla Gllue #4. We were amazed when we smoked a sample on Sunday evening. I was seeing things. The flavor is similar to the old Original OG Humboldt cut, but its far more powerful, and a totally different high.

The plants veg super quick and put out more trichomes then any plant I've seen. Only a handful of peeps have it, and they all are reporting premium prices, and people waiting for it. Instant sell outs.

Mine is going into a 100gallon smarty with advanced sunshine, and worm castings. Go look at the buds on the GG4 thread

It is being harvested at 63 days in the indoor grows, with great yields. I think its gonna do good outdoors, even though Im getting a late start.

So this season I have yet to feed my plants anything via root drench. Only water and ACT's. The time is coming where the plants go into flower and demand more nutes. I am thinking a top dressing of 25% steer manure, 25% chicken manure, 50% EWC.

What's everybody else doing?
