This was our 20th anniversary dinner last night, Im a lucky girl to have such a great man for my hubby!!
It was at one of our favorite restaurants...they are only open a few months out of the year so its a real treat for us go go there...
Almond encrusted halibut, herb rice [babba had garlic mashed potatoes] and squash, with salad and french bread. It was delish!!
Thanks everyone for sharing your meals with us its awesome to see what the world eats :D

I don´t wanna bore you, but eating out again. Fathers 77th birthday yesterday. I only made a shot of mine, before I post to much. My relatives are laughing, since month I make pictures from our meals.

It´s a soup with pured beans, mint and in the middle fresh crabs.

Tilapia tacos with a slaw made of red cabbage, cilantro, onion, jalapeno, and jicama with some mayo and malt vinegar for dressing, topped with a little feta cheese.

Just realized how crappy the pic is, but I was too lazy to grab a real cam, and I've made it this far, so I'm posting anyway. haha.
 
Hello from Australia, nothing too fancy tonight, just lamb herb and garlic sausages:
A cheese bread roll,
Sausage into roll, top turned oveer so cheese facing inward, Tomato sauce (ketchup), and back into the press for two minutes.

Yes, it´s posible, I survived a vegeterian meal.:biggrin:

Bread with garlic, biotomatoes with mozarellacheese, oliveoil,
goatcheese, with herbs and a slice of a lemon, soused for 24 hours.

Some days before, a wonderfull filetsteak. It was something special with the sauce but I forget, sorry.

In the past, before Caviar become to expensive, I often eat it. Today I can't pay the high price and I don't want it. A solid alternative is trout-caviar. Nice snack in the evening.

Here's a Good One for a Hot day...

Cucumber Cups Stuffed with Spicy Crab

INGREDIENTS

3 long cucumbers
1/4 cup sour cream (use reduced fat for lower-cal version)
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened (use reduced fat for lower-cal version)
3/4 cup crab meat, excess water removed
1 tsp hot pepper sauce (Tabasco or tapito)
1 tsp brown mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbs minced green onion
Garnish with chili powder or paprika if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the peel from the cucumbers using a vegetable peeler. Cut the cucumber into 2 inch slices. Using a small melon baller, scoop out most of the inside. You want to leave the walls and a thick portion of the bottom intact.
In a bowl, combine the sour cream and the cream cheese with a fork until well combined. add the remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Fill each of the cucumber cups with the crab dip. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve within 2 hours of making.
Experiment with different dips in the cucumber cups like hummus or a Greek yogurt spread. Enjoy!

Oh man, it's hot as hell here today ZZ. I don't think I'm going to melon ball cucumbers, but I'm going to julienne them and mix with the crab. Maybe toss some rice and avocado in for a "california bowl." Thanks for the idea.

Omg this surf and turf was unexplainable the flavors that exploded on my tung were absolutly fantastic... But Therese more I found hot sauce too I was so full but remembered this lil bottle of liquid O face just wait
