1 application of plant vitality plus got rid of my spider mites completely, kills mites and eggs.

Most of the online grow shops state this, "Plant vitality plus is a bio degradable product which can be used up to 6 hours before harvest".

sulphur burner will supress spidermites or and growroom pests for that better and you dont have to spray your buds with anything what so ever

sorry bit of a retard moment there on the keyboard it was supposed to read......

A sulphur burner will surpress spidermites in your room or any growroom pests for that matter.

i too used to fight the SM but have since been using neem as a soil drench and they haven't returned. If they are really hard to move also spray with neem also the give them their marching orders.

edit: oops my bad...didn't see 2 weeks till harvest...not in flowering...

don't spray with neem...

If it's late in your grow these methods could be dangerous and can make your bud taste like shit or neem (which is probably worse). Apply a vacuum hose directly to your buds thus sucking up most mites...DO THIS A LOT! like 4 or 5 times a day for real. Also use sponges soaked in a light soap on your leaves. Thats really the only non- chemical or systemic method.

Here's a coupla ideas for you.To 2 litres of water add 5 butch scorpion chilies ,and 7.5 g of hand rolling tobacco,2 tbsp oregano, and blend.simmer for 1/2 hour ,strain, add 2drops fairy liquid, and use as foliar spray. There are also predatory mites that must be added when the infestation is not too serious. You can also make a dipping solution from safers horticultural soap,I forget the measurements.VERY webby infestations, get in there with the Hoover (smallest head),but put a bag or receptacle over the exhaust vent .Peace

Thank everybody for the replies... The problem isn't how to get rid of them it's how to get rid of them for good this time... I finished out the grow with minor problems I guess, for what it's worth but now my problem is gettn rid of them for good this time befor I start again... The last time I got rid of them , so I thought... As soon as the pyrithrins in the bug spray where's away in thirty days, they just come right back... Last time I wiped the room down with a water and bleach mix... I thought I got everywhere I could but there's just too many places for them to hide... That y I'm thinking of bombing the room or something like that... I just can't take my lights down... I can try to wrap a towel around the light so nothing gets all over the glass cover... This just really sucks because I never had any bug problems till I bought. A bag of ocean forest from a local dealer that's now out of business, wonder why,... Anyway I just don't want them to come back again thirty days into flowering when the pyrithrins where off... Maybe I can try to give them a light spray like thirty days into flower , that way the systematic pyrithrins will be worn off by harvest time witch is never earlier then the ninth week into 12/12...

Feel your pain mate.

As suggested above a sulphur burner or ozone can be used to disinfect an area. And because its gas or vapor should penetrate in those hard to get places.

Finally, get familiar with azamax or neem oil for prevention of a return. The neem is your solution I think. Many pests/diseases need to be controlled rather than eradicated.

if u've never had bug/disease problems before u have been lucky so far :)

Best of luck.

Spinosad bro...
Or just spray straight alcohol, will fucking destroy the adults instantly as it evaporates off their skin (and melts it).

If you clean your room and they come back, it prolly means they are hitching a ride on you when you take a walk outside (lots of pests use big animals to take them to new places), or coming through the intakes. If its the former try to only go into your rooms on a fresh set of clothes after a shower preferably, rather than going into your room after a stroll in the outdoors.

If u dont want to battel mites and such for ever, u need a devise a preventive regime.

The first thing u need to do after this grow is to discard all soil- pots and other related items

After this is done u need to clean and i mean clean u room, take down lamps and clean off get into all nooks....

Also if u run mother plants - they need to be inspected and dealt with.. if they are heavy infected and u really want to keep em in a seperate room untill they are clean, then take a cut and use that as a new mother - discard the old moma with the soil and pot

After clean up and next crop u need to keep rel humidity above 60% and use predator mites.
