Whats you opinion on these PH monitors?

I first took a look at the bluelab ph monitors but they start from £150 & decided to look elsewhere, then I came across these...

Im not too savy with technical items so thought Id ask on the forum of opinions & comments.

Any info is appreciated.

I have been using ph meters in hydroponics for over 20 years. I still have meters that are 10 or more years old. I have tried all kinds of different manufactures of ph probes and meters and I can tell you that even when I have ordered a brand new top of the line Hanna or Blue Lab I have to go back into the closet and drag out the old Tri-meter Nutrient Dip - It measures temps, ppm or ec and ph continuously. These probes can dry out and are almost bullet proof compared to all of the other high end ph probes I have used over the years. Spend the money and get a good continuous meter that reads temps ph and ec or ppm. They are a better value by far.

this the one i use, came highley recommended from someone with alot of experience in hydro. (i didnt purchase from that website, just a pic for reference)

ive had mine for like two years already, always in water, only had to replace the ph probe once. i definetly agree with a plug in meter that sits in ur rez, kus ph takes a while to adjust, depending on ur rez size.

what is ur system like? what medium u using ?how big of rez /how many rezs?

this meter might seem a little pricey but it's one of those things where if u shell out a little more up front , ull save more in the long run. IMO

hope that helps .:tiphat:

None of them.
Don't get the cheap pH Meter but you can save some cash on the EC Meter.

I have the Greisinger GPH 014. Mine is almost 3 Years old, holds it's calibration properly and "just works".
It is quality made in Germany :)

Thanks everyone. Ive decided to hold on to my ph pen until its totally finished then Im planning on purchasing the bluelab combo meter.
