Never done seedlings before cus last grow i got the plants from a mate 5 weeks into veg who had to stop growing

Are they looking in a good place? When should I put them into my 3 gallon pots?

Hey buddy - they look pretty good so far :)

Maybe try putting them closer to the light to prevent stretching. I would also recommend you veg for a while in a smaller pot then up pot into the 3 gallon after they have developed sufficient roots. This way it will be easier to manage them and it will be harder to over water.

Once they have developed decent roots then put them into the 3 gallon and let them grow into the scrog screen for training. Good luck!

Thanks for popping in man :tiphat:

I havent been using my inline fan yet so i have got the lights a bit higher than normal to keep my temps down.

Should i make the smaller pots into mini temporary hempies or just fill them up with coco then up pot into a hempy?

its crazy how much bigger they got in four days

temps are usually around 28c and humidity is 50-60%

I have been giving them 1-2ml of 'vitalink coco grow hard water' per L pHed to somewhere between 5-6 (using indicator fluid) every watering and they seem to be loving it :dance013:

Yeah they are loving life at the moment :) whatever you have access to in terms of a smaller pot will work.

Just try not to use the 3 gallon yet until they have decent roots because once you water them - without the root structure to support them they can easily drown and get root rot etc.

Seedlings don't need much water/nutes and even lights really.

Your parameters are good also. Keep growin !

Update time. today is day 13 from germination

I checked the bottom of the cubes yesterday and they had roots coming out of the bottom so i transplanted to 1 gallon buckets. Its really fucking hard to get the cube open and the plant into another pot i had coco going everywhere and a load of roots were stuck through the bottom of the material and got torn :(

yesterday post water

Couple of Qs... Do i need to top or lst or both if i am going to scrog? if so when

best way to lower humidity for CHEAP? my RH was fine til i got the coco pots in, i am guessing they hold a whole lot more water than soil so faster evaporation or something cus my RH is at 70-80% right now

Is it not possible to edit your posts???

Anyway, do i need drainage hole/s in these?

you need 50 posts before you can edit. i would say yes to needing drainage holes. the harvest pics from your first attempt are pretty impressive so you must be doing something right! good luck and happy growing:tiphat:

Nice work on the transplant. 1 gallons are perfect for now. You'd be doing yourself a huge favour by setting up drainage holes in those buckets (it might have been easier to do it before the transplant) but since you have already transplanted... you may need to drill some holes upside down hahaha :D all good buddy just use a power drill with a big drill bit and it should still work. Just make sure you have a firm grip on the bucket otherwise the torque may send it flyin across the room lol

You can top them for scrog but it would probably be faster to fim it. Check out the nodes - fim around the 4th node.

70-80% humidity is great for veg - no need to stress. It will really help your plants establish their roots (which is what the seedling stage is for mainly) try to introduce a gentle in-direct breeze for them to start strengthening their stems and prepare to fim it once it begins node 4.

Also you now don't need to water so much since you're using 1 gallon containers. Maybe just once or twice a week. Use a wet/dry cycle for faster root development (if the media starts to dry the plants will grow roots faster in search for water). Good luck :)

So my pc took a dump on me and died but im back now so its time for lots of photos !

Because my first transplant was such a hassle i decided to put them in 3 gallon pots the next day and they have done fine i think.

It is now day 31 since germination (approx)

This is 6 days after the last photos (i swap them around a lot) day 19 after germination this is just after topping

Forgot to say, looks pretty clear that i have two different phenotypes, can anyone who has experience with c99 identify which is what from sight?

Looks like it's coming along nicely so far bud :)

The curly leaves are probably minor heat stress - nothing too much to worry about. Try to keep temps (at the canopy level) under 30 degrees celsius and they will be very happy.

Won't be too long before that scrog screen fills up!

Probably just had a bit too much right now, but I was so wrapped up in this thread right now because the plants had names. I wish more people would name their plants, it brings grow diaries a new feel of how each plant has it's own personality.

But there's only 1 thing that bugged me... you named those pretty ladies frank and dennis lol.

Other than that, I'm on board, mate. Looking tits!

They are named are Always Sunny in Philadelphia characters, originally i had Dennis - tall and skinny, Frank (danny devito) - short and squat and Dee - runty little sister of Dennis but then Dennis became short and squat and Frank became some enormous monster and Dee lived up to her name and was completely useless so i killed her off after a few days

anyway, thanks for stopping by its time for an update

I figure now that i have left flowering too late these fuckers are growing like vines real stretchy bendy shoots everywhere so i change it up to 12/12 for the night but im keeping my mh bulb in for a week or 2 to reduce stretch. good idea?

DAY 40 (day 2(??) of flowering)

do i count flowering from the light schedule change or from when im getting some pistils/preflowers etc? anyway

i9Jxkoe.jpg

if you cant keep up its frank on the left and dennis on the right

2BLY4n4.jpg

frank looking pretty, the lights were warming up when i took these which is why the lighting is weird

K0Hpttl.jpg

and disappointing dennis

Frank and Dennis had both been getting
~4 litres of phed tapwater
16 ml of vitalink hardwater coco veg

every couple of days but now im gonna switch them onto the vitalink bloom nute and add 1/8 teaspoon of epsom salts and then up it to 1/4 after a week if i see no ill effects

its day 41 now but i probably cant get pictures up for the next few days but thanks for reading
